POSTS STORIES REELS

I've been writing for as long as I can remember. My first attempt at writing a storybook was when I was about six (the first slide is the only childhood picture I could lay hands on. Please don't try to identify me in the picture 😂).

I was that child who could talk and talk and talk. Whenever I got into trouble for talking too much, I'd be sent to a room to stay by myself. Imagine sending a talkative child somewhere with nobody to talk to! 😂

So, I started writing. All the things I wanted to say, the conversations I wanted to have and the stories in my imagination found their way onto paper. Writing became my little escape.

In 2020 (2nd slide), I came up with a slogan: "Changing narratives and changing lives through storytelling and story writing." Little did I know how much those words would come to mean to me.

Today, as a lawyer, legislative researcher and Master's graduate in Legislative Drafting, I continue to discover the many ways writing can shape lives, influence policies and strengthen institutions.

I've also continued telling stories, sharing some on my Substack and exploring my interest in scriptwriting.

Now, imagine my excitement when I was approached to have one of my stories adapted into a short movie! We worked on the script, and now, it's happening! (3rd and 4th slides) 🥹

From a little girl writing in her room to seeing her imaginary characters come alive on screen. What a journey!

My prayer is that I never lose the gift and opportunities to tell stories that matter. May the words I write always find the people they are meant to reach and make a difference.

I'm eternally grateful to the cast and crew that brought this story to live. Thank you for sharing your gift, skill, and excellence with the world.

Ladies and Gentlemen, here's the MOVIE! 🥹❤️ It premieres this Thursday (the details are in the flier). I can't wait for you to see it!

If you’ve ever felt like you weren’t enough for someone…

This one’s for you.

ENOUGH premieres October 5th on The Media Dept. Studios our new home for narrative film.

Trailer’s live now. Link in bio. by @favourobaka

I got to be Ada, the main character in this short film, for a few days, and it turned out to be such a healing experience for me. Interestingly, I had been dealing with something similar myself, unbeknownst to my director.

Ada’s story is a heartbreaking one, a story of back-to-back rejection. But did all things eventually work together for her good? That’s something I’d love for you to find out when ENOUGH is released.

I hope this film brings you as much healing as it brought me. Perhaps, somewhere in Ada’s story, you’ll find a piece of your own story too.

Please mark your calendars!

Some people spend their whole lives being told they’re not enough.

ADA believed it too. Until she found out where her worth was actually supposed to come from.

Just a glimpse of my journey, the people, the moments, the service, the work, and the little things that make up the bigger picture. 🌍

I may be starting small, but I refuse to think small. I’m building with a vision that goes beyond borders, trusting God to take what He has placed in my hands farther than I can imagine.

One day, these little moments will tell a much bigger story.

I’m not a local champion. I’m building for global impact. 🙏🏽 by @favourobaka

There are very few people who have shown up for me in life the way this man has. ❤️

I remember one of the hardest seasons of my life. I called him, and the moment he picked up and heard my voice, he asked, “Are you home? I’m coming.”

He showed up without asking what had happened, without needing an explanation. He came, stayed with me for an entire week, and made sure I was okay before he left.

That’s Delight for you. A man who doesn’t just say he cares but shows up when it matters most. And that’s only one of the many times he has been there for me.

On your birthday, my prayer for you is this: May you experience the same love, kindness, and unwavering support you have so freely given to others. May life bring you men who will show up for you, stand by you, and hold you up in your own difficult seasons. May you never lack the kind of people who make life easier simply by being present.

Happy birthday, my brother! I love you, I honour you, and I celebrate the incredible person you are. Thank you for being you, Delight. ❤️🥂 by @favourobaka

Something is building. 👀

Since 2019, Balance Seminar Network has been creating experiences that inspire young people to grow, live intentionally, and lead with purpose.

We took a pause. We grew. We built capacity. And now, we’re back in the room — connecting, thinking, planning, and building together.

The vision is still bigger than events.

We’re building a generation that lives intentionally, leads confidently, and creates meaningful impact.

This is just the beginning.

We all have goals. The real challenge is staying consistent enough to achieve them.

Decisions + structure = progress.

That’s where Nlomly comes in. 🚀

Some things just stay with you.

This week, I came across a few words, ideas, and lessons that made me pause and think.

I saved the ones that stuck with me and decided to share them.

Maybe one of them is something you need to hear too.

Which one stood out to you? 👇🏾

Most businesses don’t have a growth problem. They have a readiness problem.

Growth can expose what more customers simply can’t fix, weak processes, poor customer experience, an overwhelmed team, or a business that still depends too heavily on the founder.

So before asking, “How do I get more customers?”, ask:

“Is my business ready for more?”

Build stronger. Then build bigger.

Because sustainable growth isn’t about becoming bigger for the sake of it. It’s about building a business that can handle the growth it wants.

Save this for your next growth conversation. by @favourobaka
