First, I want to thank God for the incredible opportunity to be a part of this amazing program. My journey at Sam Houston began in 2021 as a freshman. I was shocked to make the team at the time. I tried out just for fun and was under-skilled, never thinking I’d make it, unaware that God had a plan for me, which would lead to the best four years of my life. Growing in this program wasn’t easy, but it has been truly rewarding.

To my ‘ohana,
IM SO PROUD OF US! This season was truly special, not just because of our win, but because of our family. I love you all so much, thank you for making this the best last season ever. You all mean the world to me. Thank you for trusting, loving, and supporting me. I’m so glad we lived up to DUCIB-OMS & CBFT; we deserved it, we worked hard for it and we EARNED IT! I know you all will continue to do great things.

To my coaches,
Thank you for pushing me physically, academically and mentally. Your guidance taught me to always leave a place better than I found it, a principle I strive to uphold. Your loving support and belief in me have been my motivation to become the best version of myself I can be inside and outside of the gym. Trusting the process wasn’t easy, but you both believed in me, and that’s what mattered most. I am forever grateful for you both. @courtney.riddell @bmccolpin

To my SFCF,
This program has gifted me with lifelong friends who have supported me from the very beginning. I cherish my AGFL, DUCIB, CBFT, and SFCF. Without you all, I don’t know where I’d be. Words cannot express how thankful I am for y’all and for being a part of this program. A loving thank you to all my littles; you all have big shoes to fill! Lastly, closing this chapter in my life, leaving this program, and hanging up my cheer shoes is the hardest goodbye for me. I know you’ll all continue to make me proud. I love y’all🧡
