He has a way of reminding me that He sees me and remembers me, that He hears me and I am not alone.

Another birthday that I have been reminded His hand has been on my life every step of the way.

HAPPY 16th BIRTHDAY TO MY BABY GIRL🎉💕

I remember the day I found out I was pregnant. It was 3 weeks into my junior year of college — a very gloomy rainy Saturday afternoon. I was shocked to say the least, but I pressed on. A baby preparing to have a baby not realizing what the road would look like ahead.

Raising you has been the greatest blessing of my life. We have grown up together in so many ways. There were seasons that were hard, moments when I didn’t know how we would make it through, tears behind closed doors, sacrifices, and struggles that only God truly knows about but through it all He has kept us.

Sixteen years later, and I am blessed with the most beautiful, compassionate, smart, loving, hardworking daughter ever. I thank God I never listened to the negativity in my ear during my early pregnancy and I have you here with me today. Many people would do anything to have a daughter like you, but God chose me to be your mom.

Watching you grow into the young woman you are today has brought me more joy than words could ever explain. I thank God that He has brought you this far, and I cant wait to see what else he has in store for you. You’re everything I wish I could have been at 16.

Life’s been feeling lighter …. not perfect but just right where I need to be. The best part of this season is discovering parts of me that I never knew some of which were hidden, yet drawing closer to God at the same time. I am so grateful for where I am now and trusting that where I am going is nothing short of amazing!

Why spend time wallowing in the past when you can be intentional about the present✨

Becoming healthy spiritually is an intentional act, just like becoming physically healthy!

The Bible tells us to not only flee from the very appearance of evil but to continually examine ourselves to ensure our hearts are right before God. Environment and atmosphere play a major role in our success in all aspects of our lives.

It’s clean up time! Let’s do heart checks and really ask God what we need to work and what the strategy should be to be healthy not just physically but spiritually as well ✞

In the past two years so much has changed in my life. A few things Ive learned:

1. Put God first, people leave you, situations change but God remains the same!

2. Prioritize yourself! Can you imagine we can stress ourselves into an autoimmune disease… NO THANKS!

3. Live life in the moment, time goes by quick but if you cherish every minute it will feel like forever💕

4. Life is worth living, so live it. Jobs come and go, so do people and money…but you only get one life to live, do so with no regrets✨
