w/ @anthonyramosofficial at the 69th Annual Puerto Rican Day Parade! 🇵🇷🇵🇷🇵🇷

Last weekend, my mom’s long time friend - a woman who has seen me grow up dancing since I was 4 years old, sat in my living room and cried watching me perform on TV at the parade with Anthony. She told me on a phone call that she cried because watching me live my dreams was so joyous, it made her emotional. I’ve gotten so much support and congratulations from every corner of my life over the past few months - a pretty solid reminder that, yes, I’m out there having the time of my life, but that, yes, I am also realizing dreams and witnessing the fruits of my labor.

And I get to share these moments with so many people who make it all worth the sweat !!!

Thank you to @eddietorresjr and @_princessserrano for seeing me and opening the door for me, but mostly for being stellar humans to dance alongside. To @eddietorresjr and @this_is_teresa for the fun a$$ choreo, and what a crew, sheeeeeesh @oscar_rosardia @emmanuel.lopez.alonso @ccielogonzalez @brayanllamoza

It hasn’t been my birthday for weeks, but this is the kind of love that you thank your lucky stars for every day for the rest of your life. So I will ! (scroll to the end for how I felt when the fence door opened)

If you were to ask me how I’d spend my last day on Earth, I’d describe this day to you. There is no greater birthday gift than the presence of those who think you’re worth celebrating no matter the time, distance, or circumstances.

There is no greater gift than @victorshemper , who is an evil mastermind, orchestrator of beautiful chaos, the entire reason any of this happened, and the definition of love as I have come to know it❤️

There is no greater gift than parents who make anyone feel like family by the end of the night, who taught me that celebration is a non-negotiable and FIERCELY important part of life🫂

There is no greater gift than live music, movement, and energy exchange. Thank you @wynmakesnoise @sexymanshtan and friends + @chikita23_____ for letting me shake my tail feathers to your songs all night, you made a girl so happy🥹

Thank you to this home for its forever open door policy and to all the friends who arrive through these doors carrying love, joy, and support. Everyone deserves to be celebrated like this in their lifetime <3 by @faye.shemper
