🦋 Silverwood Theme Park, northern Idaho

Opened in 1988, it’s been owned by the original family until earlier this year. They sold it to Herschend Family Entertainment Corporation, an Atlanta-based and family-held themed attractions company that also owns Silver Dollar City and partly owns Dollywood (alongside Dolly Parton Productions).

It features a waterpark side called Boulder Beach and is the largest amusement and water park in the PNW!

Noted for its impeccable landscaping, clean environment, and strong thematic and family-focused environment.

4 years later, Dolly Parton would get a partial hysterectomy due to severe endometriosis which caused her to pass out at one of her performances.

Although her and her husband Carl Dean could’ve adopted, she often said she believed it was God’s plan for her not to have biological children so that “everybody’s kids could be mine,” inspiring large-scale philanthropic initiatives such as the Imagination Library.

Their marriage lasted nearly 60 years. He passed about a year before she did. || 9 to 5 (1980) movie premiere

everyday I, make my way, through the streets of your town 🇦🇺 not Australian but grew up the first part of my childhood in a beach town during the mid-late 90s and this song reminds me of music I’d hear in the car 🩵💙
