i saw this post idea from @book_bower and thought it was a really cute way to look back on the books i’ve read as a child (and teen) that has shaped me to be the reader that i am now🫶🏼

i had a period when i stopped reading completely. i blamed it on being busy with school/work/social life & i simply didn’t find any books that kept me engaged.

But as you can see, books have always been a huge part of my life and i’m forever grateful to have found love in reading again & to be a part of this lovely book community!

this is by no means in any particular order, i very much love all that is mentioned🫶🏼

welcome to my hair-eras aka ✨hairas✨

this is a random idea i had and hopefully it makes sense🤞🏼 but basically i matched books to the vibes that my hair was giving in each of these eras *💓☀️🌶️🖤*

also i realized after choosing the books, that they are all primarily romances (oops)🤭
i love so many different genres now but i guess i am a romance reader at heart🤍

FINALLY made a Throne of Glass post! ❤️‍🔥🗡️👑

To be completely honest, i finished this series a couple months back and i haven’t mentioned it but i’m here now to say i haven’t stopped thinking about it😀

This is just a lil (nvm it’s a long) compilation of my thoughts and scenes that i’ve loved. There’s definitely so many more but i’d just be restating the whole series LOL

My August Reading Wrap Up + lil updates🌅✨

What’s your favorite read from August?
Mine is a tie between The Song of Achilles and Heartstopper Volume 6 (the last book! ugh i love Nick and Charlie)

& I’d love to know if anyone’s read any of these books, i’m curious to hear your thoughts! (good or bad LOL) xx

As for updates, my August mainly consisted of moving which has been exciting for me and my book organizing📚
Also i’m still working on doing a clean pull up and running more (if anyone has tips for a first time marathon runner, pls lmk!)🏃🏻‍♀️
Last but definitely not least, my love and i celebrated our anniversary with a staycation in Waikiki❤️(we played tourists which was a silly fun time)

I really enjoyed all of my reads in July (although none were really summerish haha oops)

i feel like i should reintroduce myself w the way i’ve been inactive for so long😭 so hey i’m Fay and i still love reading LOL i hope everyone’s been well💓

i literally had this post ready for MONTHS but i never came back on here so i apologize for this random end of 2025 post in March of 2026😗

i’ve missed this community so much so i definitely am back! but i am going to lessen the “pressure” that i put on myself by not stressing myself on how active i thought i had to be (if that makes sense)🤍

shout out to @madelinesbookshelves for being the first person that I personally saw with this trend and who gave me the template for this palette, thanks luv!🫶🏼

so many of you guys had such cute and artsy takes on this that I had to give it a shot🤭

there were some tricky moments when making this but i tried my best LOL and i enjoyed all of the books here!🎨❤️

i also tried to include all different authors haha so that was fun to think about too😌
