Anyone who knows me, knows that Christmas and a well lit 🎄Christmas tree is a MUST! 🎁Presents are nice but the TREE is the star of the season (next to baby Jesus and Santa, obvi). There are few things in this world that tickle my happy spot… THIS is one of them! Since 2015 on @todayshow (thanks to @amesmoran ) my Christmas tip/s and expert advice have been shared throughout dozens of countries, 🌎 in hundreds of publications, 📺📚TV shows and radio stations. At this time every year, I wonder if 🧐this is the last time I’ll trend. 😃But here we are again in 2023 (8 years later) and my words have been transcribed in more languages than I knew even existed.
It really brings me joy and I’m thankful to have this global reach with such a simple thing.
Clearly I’m no @mariahcarey …but at Christmas time especially, being a part of someone’s day as they read their favorite magazine, blog or otherwise, is incredibly special. 🙏🏻 Thanks for letting me brag a bit. I hope you all have a Happy Holiday Season!

The studios/offices that house Disney | ABC television,on NYC’s UWS, are moving to a new place.The now former block holds many memories for me.I did things I never thought I’d be able to do.The best teams in news/entertainment media always shared their minds,hearts and most valuably,their time with me.From appearing on GMA,The View and abc7 NY,to my ‘behind the scenes’ EP and Talent consulting.This entire block of buildings holds a significant ‘block of time’ for me,as I know it does for many.This location is made of more than brick and old wiring.It is made of media magic + countless monumental life events over the decades delivered to our TV sets.It is steeped in TV history with some of the most iconic daytime TV ever made.From soap operas (like, All My Children and One Life To Live) to countless entertainment talk shows and everything in between.This ‘block’ will always have a huge part of my heart.Thankful to those that I was lucky enough to work with over the years at this location. Working and watching along side these brilliant people (in several capacities) I keep engrained in my mind a ledger of each persons specific logic and loyalty to their work, which I use as a template when working to this day. My biggest thanks to this ‘block’ of people is for all the professional and personal friendships that formed within those storied walls. In closing (I know this post is a bit self indulgent but it’s instagram, so chill😆) this chapter and beginning of my career and future paths taken would not have been without paying homage and respectfully recognizing how it all began.This particular time frame in my life and this building are extra special,all thanks to @ginger_zee You held the OG door open for me (literally and figuratively)you navigated my way through many first and different opportunities.From the first segment of us redoing your office (way back when) — to many more introductions and special times we shared. It all began because you witnessed my talents and then did something many don’t do in this industry,you acted on it! You believed in me and advocated for my first spot,or in this case a “spotlight“… and the rest is history. Thank you! ♥️ taken in ABC Television by @fbbnyc

Did someone say cake? It’s my birthday — 8/30. Yes that is me, a little boy with BIG dreams, a BIG anticipator (in this photo it was dessert) and someone who has BIG appreciation for the little things.
I wish I could go back in time and tell this kid how life would turn out for him… what to do (and not do), what to change, what to expect, what and who to cherish, how to save his money and not shop so much… but as I sit here and reflect (I know, this is sounding self indulgent) all of his (my) life’s wins and loses made him (me) a pretty fantastic fella (humble, not so much😂).
So my wish this year is for ALL of us, at any age, to find your naivety, anticipation and appreciation in the little things. Goals are great but the true flex these days is happiness (and cheap rent😆 iykyk).
It truly keeps us balanced and YOUNG at heart!
Now, I must go eat cake! 💁🏻‍♂️🎂 😂

NYC is a dreamscape (and a nightmare). We owe all of it to @lizziegoldenlox who navigated and scored our first home when searching here 15 years ago. Friends since then …and will be forever. 🤍 If you are in the market for a new place to call home in #nyc - she’s your gal!

2016 challenge seems like just that — a challenge. The challenge for me is to not feel so darn old! How is this 10 years ago already!?! 🤪 Building my career must have been number 1 for me back then. Almost every pic that popped up is from Hearst, TODAY, The View, GMA or some cool PR event. I have so much joy and appreciation looking at all these wonderful moments, but also concerned because It begs the question, “are my best professional years behind me”?😩🤷🏻‍♂️ Who can guess the future 🔮… I never would have expected to meet so many amazing people and have such an epic 2016 back in 2012, so I will just keep moving forward and keep aligning with those that matter most and speak my name (positively) in rooms that I am not in. 🙏🏼To everyone along the way that I’m lucky enough to still call a friend, thank you! I love and cherish you! 🤗
To the rest of you who “fell off the grid” since then, I’m glad we had our time. My life was changed for the better because of you (and I know yours was elevated and enriched a little by me too ☺️). We did some pretty cool stuff together. I am always here for you to reconnect with and remind you just how freaking fabulous I am! 😂♥️

Happy 5️⃣0️⃣@goodmorningamerica !!! ☀️
Growing up in the Midwest, I watched this show religiously with my family.
Fast forward ... and here I am! Thankful to be a part of (and witness some of the industry greats at work) during those 50 incredible years. It’s simply surreal… 🤗🩵
