A letter to tubing trip…

Who would have thought? This is the end of summer. I wasn’t expecting to get sad over floating on a river all day with my favorite people but here we are.

There’s something about being soaking wet, sunburnt, and laughing so hard you can’t breathe with people who’ve become family that just does something to your heart. This trip has never really been about the water. It’s about who you’re floating next to.

First Baptist students are like no other, and I mean that. The way this group loves loud, prays hard, and never lets anyone float alone — that’s not normal, that’s a God thing.

“Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: if either of them falls down, one can help the other up.” Ecclesiastes 4:9-10

Thank you tubing trip. Thank you family. Thank you God, for these students who I am surrounded by daily. I love you, we love you! by @fbf.students
