Still thinking about our time in Puerto Rico! 🤩

We had the best week serving the people of Puerto Rico! We were able to paint, do yard work, and provide blessing bags of groceries and toiletries to five different homes!

An awesome USA Night! We grilled out, played some wiffleball, and had a great time of worship together.

Tonight we looked at Philippians 3:1-11, that we would we stop trusting in what we have done, and instead start trusting in what Jesus has already done for us! by @fbpstudents

FUGE 2026

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters.
He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

Day 1: The summer heat could not stop this incredible mission team from Prattville @fbpstudents! In partnership with Glocal Mission in Houston @glocalmission, they spent the day sharing the love of Christ through service, compassion, and the Gospel.

At apartment complexes in North Houston, the team engaged children and families through crafts, songs, choreographed activities, snacks, and care packages, creating opportunities to build relationships and share the hope found in Jesus Christ through Gospel story telling.

Earlier in the day, the team also served underprivileged individuals in downtown Houston by distributing sandwiches, care packages, and words and prayers of encouragement. It was a beautiful expression of God’s love in both word and deed.

We praise God for every conversation, every smile, and every opportunity to serve. Thank you, Prattville team, for your willingness to be the hands and feet of Jesus and to bring His light to the communities of Houston. What an encouraging start to this mission journey!

We can hardly wait to see what God has in store for tomorrow as we continue serving, sharing, and making disciples.

Today, the Student Ministries team @fbpstudents from First Baptist Church of Prattville (@fbcprattville) joined us at @glocalmission for an exciting mission adventure in Houston! We are grateful for their passion, energy, and servant hearts. They are ready to serve those in need and share the hope of the gospel through both word and action. Please pray that God will use this week to impact lives, strengthen faith, and advance His Kingdom.
