🚨COMITTMENT ALERT 🚨

So excited to announce that one of our OG Braves from our first team in 2017 has officially committed to John Jay College. Vin has been one of the backbones of Flores Baseball from our inaugural season until now. He is the epitome of hard work, a great teammate, a coachable player and trusting the process. Vin has excelled at every single level of baseball since he started and more importantly, has always been one of the most selfless and easy players to coach. Vin will run through a wall for any coach and we can’t wait to see what he does in college. The Bloodhounds got a great one! Vin, the doors are always open here for you! 🪓🪓🪓

It’s been a hell of a run! Thank you for trusting the process.

9U Houston Recap:

Our loaded 9U squad came ready to play! The boys went 2-1-1 in pool play clinching a spot in the Gold Bracket. The boys ended up losing on walk-off in the playoffs but were locked in every game. Very excited for this group and the damage they’ll do in Georgia at the PG World Series!

Shoutout to @masonjett_hod finishing as the 2nd best pitching performer in the entire tourney!

12U Houston Super Regional Recap:

What a run by our 12U boys! These guys battled all weekend going 6-2, ultimately losing in the finals on a walk-off to the 10th ranked team in the nation.

These boys hit, pitched and fielded with the best of them with @hudson_lann finishing as the top pitcher in the entire 12U age group, @mikedelorenzo2 finishing as the third highest pitcher, and @accurso_anthony finishing as the 12th highest hitter out of over 850 players.

Our boys even got to play a playoff game against our @prdbaseballacademy partners!

So proud of these boys and excited for their final year on the small fields.

What a way to open up!

13U Weekend Recap:

Our 13U National boys were dealt one of the toughest pool play schedules to date . Game 1 versus the 30th ranked team in the country, Game 2 against the 7th ranked team in the country, follow up by Game 3 against a team with an Honorable Mention National ranking. Not only did our boys show up, but they went 3-0 in pool play clinching their way to the Gold Bracket of the Houston Super Regional.

The boys came up short by one run in the playoffs but we could not be more proud of their impressive performance.

Big time pitching, timely hitting, and just overall grit shown by all the boys and coaches made this weekend one to remember! Going to be a big year for each and every one of these young men.
