SZN Announcement 📣
Portland, i’m coming back!!! 🥹❤️

i’m thrilled to share that i’ll be returning to @portlandopera this season as Teodoro in The Crown Maker! 👑✨

it’s an incredible honor to be part of this world premiere, inspired by the life and legacy of Mexican American healer, artist, educator, and immigrant-rights advocate Eva Castellanoz. i’m so grateful to help bring her story to the stage for the very first time, composed by Jesse J.Sanchez and libretto by Maya Malán-González and to share this new opera with audiences 50+ times 🥹

there’s a lot happening in the FRANK musiverse right now. 😂🖤

more soon. 👀

Some pieces not only shape your voice, but also shape your artistry.

No Puede Ser and its passion- infused drama is one of mine. And who doesn’t love Spanish opera?

A lot of hard work, patience, and growth led to this moment. “Lonely House” has always been one of my favorite pieces because of its raw humanity. Grateful to keep finding new depth in this music and little tasteful falsetto at the end ✨ also let me be your Sam 🏠

Special thanks to @quammenmcguire for the collaboration, @thetony.z for the fantastic audio, and @popstartnashville for the excellent space!

My heart is so full.
Playing the role of Rolf in The Sound of Music has been such a meaningful experience and one I’ll never forget. A huge thank you to @backlightproductions and @nashvilleopera for creating such a special production and bringing this beloved story to life. Backlight’s mission of creating meaningful performance opportunities for artists of all abilities was evident in every rehearsal and every performance, and it was an honor to be part of a production that celebrated inclusion, joy, and community through music.

I think every tenor has music that feels stitched into them somewhere. This is one of mine.

“Dein ist mein ganzes Herz” ✨

I’m so excited to share some of what I’ve been working on during this particularly full and transformative opera season. Special thanks to @quammenmcguire for a beautiful collaboration, @popstartnashville for the lovely atmosphere and @thetony.z for his video and audio recording.
