Matchday!

The lads look to go for 3 league wins in 3 league games against Limehouse Tigres. We had a run in with them when we were still new in our first ever preseason. But things are different now. We’re an experienced group with a lot of grit. We aim for nothing less than 3 points, ever. Come down and support us. Our sideline is packed - bring your family to the family 🫡

The lads made it two wins from two with a dominant 3-0 victory over Community Road. 💪

We came flying out of the blocks, finding the net inside the opening two minutes. It took us a little while to shift up another gear after that, but we eventually found our rhythm and grabbed a second just before half-time.

And what a goal it was. Unfortunately it was too quick for the camera 👎🚀

From there, we took full control of the game. Community Road struggled to cause us any real problems, and we put the result beyond doubt with a third goal around 10 minutes from full-time.

3-0. Three points. Two wins from two. Job done. ✅

*EPISODE 2*

We take on Community Road this Sunday as we look to bounce back from our Super Cup defeat and continue our league campaign.

We’ll be aiming to get our second league win on the board and keep the momentum going. The recent rain should hopefully have done the pitches some good, so we’re looking forward to a great game!

We got a great sideline that’s only getting bigger. We built everything here from the ground up. No handouts, no shortcuts - just hours.

FULL TIME | 2-1 LOSS

A frustrating result in the Super Cup.

We took the lead early against Clapton FC and played some great football. A suspect handball decision allowed Clapton to level from the penalty spot before half-time.

We created a good few chances in the second half but couldn’t find the finish. With 10 minutes to go, Clapton took their chance and put it away.

We were the better team on the day, but football can be cruel.

Heads up. We go again. 💪⚽

Super Cup 🏆

First fixture against Clapton CFC, another good and long-standing team.

Off the back of a good win, we’re looking to carry that energy into this one and go for 2 in 2. 💪⚽️

We are forever grateful to the sidelines for their support 💙🫡

3–0 W against FC Dnister! 🔥

A great way to kick off the season against an experienced side.

Everything was clicking for us, apart from the much-needed goal. Our patience paid off in the end, and once the first one went in, the rest followed.

Super Kev made two incredible saves to keep us in the lead at 1-0 as always 🧤

A strong performance and a great start to the season.

LEAGUE OPENER ⚽️

Our first league game in Hackney & Leyton League Division 1 sees us take on FC Dnister.

A well-known side who have been competing around the higher level of the league for a number of seasons.

A few of our first team lads have come up against FC Dnister before with our former club, so we know exactly what to expect - organised, disciplined and no-nonsense.

We’ve put the work in throughout pre season, and now it’s time to bring everything we’ve built into the league.

Season III 💙🎬

3-3 against Hackney Borough.

The same scoreline as when we faced them two years ago but this time, the improvement was levels.

We kept the ball on the ground, worked hard for each other, and played football our way. We ticked it around the pitch, showed confidence, bravery and resilience, and stayed true to our identity.

We should have won the game, there’s no doubt about that. But after a 3-3 draw, there’s also a lot to be proud of.

The performance, the character and the way we played the game, we can walk off with our heads held high.

This Sunday we take on Hackney Borough, a well respected, long standing Premier Division side from the Marshes.

It’ll be a great test for us and a proper game of football for sure. The perfect challenge to sharpen us up and get us ready before the season kicks off.

Let’s get it ⚽️

W.

A dominant display against Fish Island. The confidence, energy and football was top quality. Despite going a goal down against the run of play twice, we were outstanding today with and without the ball. We responded quickly, pressed collectively and worked the ball brilliantly.

Best performance we’ve had this preseason. We stated we want to keep things positive and constructive moving forward and that’s what we did and will continue to do. Today was levels.

Matchday!

After the issues in regard to pitches at Hackney Marshes, we managed to secure a last minute friendly against Fish Island in Enfield.

They know all about us, we know all about them. We competed with them last year in Division 2. We won the league. We’ll be going again in Division 1 due to their promotion.

So why not start again from now.
