DJ life appears so chaotic and all over the place from the outside, almost hard to imagine having a family. Cristina and I discuss her approach to her DJ career and all the wholesome and beautiful vibes that come with it. 🥰🫶

Welcome to @cristinalazic !!! Our very special guest for the final episode of the series. 💣 🥵

Episode now on YouTube: 🔗 in bio

Born in Italy and based in London, Cristina Lazic has risen rapidly through the musical ranks. In the six years since arriving on the scene Cristina has performed at iconic clubs and festivals like Hï and Amnesia Ibiza, Space Miami Exit, Sunwaves, Koko and has released music on renowned labels including Crosstown Rebels, Bedrock, Moxy Muzik, Moan, and her own label La Zic (in french slang “The music”). Her unique take on stripped back house music has led to international radio support from the likes of BBC Radio 1, Ibiza Global, Sonica, Pure Ibiza and Data Transmission.

2025 sees the evolution of Cristina’s “La Zic” project: a music platform offering a record label, artist development program for DJs and showcases.

Being aware of the issues that female professionals can face in male dominated
industries like tech and music, Cristina has the vision to make a difference in music for women, and mothers in particular, since she is a mother herself. She is part of @shesaid.so, the community of women in the music industry, where she leads the parenthood committee’s efforts to safeguard the interest of artists with kids.

Ultimately, music is at the core of Cristina Lazic’s life and everything she does. Her aim is to connect with people by making them dance and her sounds range from deep house to upbeat, groovy minimal tunes.

@fadedsocietyofficial was invited on to FEMEL ENERGY EP 003 in October last year.
Since then, this marks 1 & a half years since she took the plunge, quit her job and changed the game.

The vodcast @fe_mel_energy is founded and hosted by @fe_mel_music to talk about music, business, experiences and celebrating females in the industry as a whole

Cat aka Faded Society launched her events & marketing agency in April 2024 with a purpose to platform and provide resources for emerging artists. In this highlight they talk about finding solutions to a gap for emerging artists, resources and tools in music marketing and the importance of cultivating community through leading by example.

The latest Get2kno is uppp ✨🚀 and it’s all about celebrating FLINTA promoters and producers!

Last month I launched a club night with one of my best mates, and we really came to appreciate how much work goes into making nights happen - so I wanted to spotlight some of the promoters who put diversity into the heart of what they do 💖💫.

There are still way too many all-male line-ups out there 😡…. And most importantly, celebrating and supporting FLINTA talent and people is more crucial now than ever 🙏🏻.

For the show we hear from 9 wonderful promoters about their events and why representation is so essential in this space. The voice notes are interwoven with a mix by me of entirely FLINTA producers, many of whom are promoters themselves ❤️‍🔥💥. Expect proggy goodness, dark hypnotic house, gorgeous breaks and an end track by a true icon 🤌🏻🧚‍♀️.

Thank you sooo much to the amazing contributors:Holly and @echojulietdj from @selextorhood, @corenmusic who runs @secretvalleyfest, @aimiehennah who runs @pherotone.party with me, @fadedsocietyofficial who runs @thefadedcommunity, @djmaddogtrue who runs @vinylb1tch, @fe_mel_music of @fe_mel_energy and @chesshamaya who run Nightbird. You’re all such inspirations and it was really empowering/emotional hearing all of your stories 🥹🫶🏻.

Swipe for some clips, blends and the tracklist! Link in bio if you fancy a listen 🥰

Track IDs:
Slide 2) @octoocta - Come Here, Let’s Commune!
4) @ladymonixx In A Daze (Original Mix) to @matisa.dj - Incantesimo
6) @erisdrew - Transcendental Access Point
8) @aforalphaaa - Delta
10) @niks_bad - Amble Minds to @rosebonica - Deathface (thanks to @lilylon.don for this rec in her weekly female and non-binary producer roundup!)
11) @___faff___ - Mourning A Dream (Feat. Meg)
12) @elkkamusic - Babe

Other gorgeous tracks in the mix by @lalabennett, @scarlett_omalley, @teetee184 and @madonna 💫✨💖

Thanks for listening, please support and book FLINTA talent y’all! xxx by @fe_mel_energy
