Light the Night 2026!

Last night I was very lucky to get to walk the mile for light the night last night! Last year I learned about this while I was admitted in the hospital and walked around 7E with IV pole attached. It was a lot better to be walking outside with my friends and family this year! by @fearless_with.a.full_heart

Last week I attend the MASC/MAHS leadership summer camp and it was the best week of my life.

Last summer I was signed up to attend this camp and sadly I was not able to due to my harsh treatments and diagnosis. So being able to attend really made me smile. This was also the first time I went without my head wrap or wig in a very public setting and allowed my new little short hairs to be seen. 😁

365 days from the moment that changed my life

1 year ago today, June 4th I was diagnosed with Leukemia and my life has not been the same. Weekly doctor’s visits, days I can’t get off the couch, multiple transfusions and figuring out my new normal.

I’m grateful to be moving forward in treatment and thankful for all of my doctors, friends and family who have gotten me through this so far.

Hi! My name is Cadence and I was diagnosed with B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (B-ALL) June 4th, 2025.

While it’s definitely been a struggle dealing with this new normal the past few months, I’ve found my people that are helping me get through this and are there 110% for me. I find joy in all the little things.
