A beautiful milestone for Atelier AM. Congratulations on the launch of your newest book, and thank you for trusting us to have our work featured on its cover.

The cover features our hand-textured, brushed panels, gilded in Caplain leaf, originally created for the beautiful New York project featured within the book… a fitting connection between the work and its cover.

A true pleasure to be part of this project and to celebrate Atelier AM’s remarkable work ā¤ļø

In Monaco, a grand salon inspired by Émile-Jacques Ruhlmann brings the spirit of French Art Deco into a contemporary setting šŸ¤

Crafted by Féau Boiseries in oak and resin, the décor is presented in two expressions: natural oak, recalling Ruhlmann’s original material palette, and a white patina that gives the composition a lighter, more contemporary character.

A meeting of historic inspiration and contemporary savoir-faire.

Which interpretation do you prefer: natural oak or white patina? taken in Monaco by @feauboiseries

ā€œI am a passionate collector of maquettes for panelling.ā€

For Guillaume Féau, these scale models are more than charming antiques, they are vivid archives of the decorative arts and a way of bringing ideas to life for clients.

Among the treasures of the collection are maquettes from the renowned house of Carlhian, celebrated decorators to high society during the Belle Époque.

One of these remarkable models is the maquette for the legendary bathroom designed by architect Bélanger for the actress and dancer Mademoiselle Dervieux around 1780, featuring an extraordinary Neo-Etruscan décor.

The second, featuring a magnificent domed interior, served as inspiration for the entrance of Villa Fiorentina, where Feau Boiseries reinstalled the original dome from the George Hoentschel collection, together with its remarkable panels and arabesque decoration.

Two maquettes, two stories, and a glimpse into the extraordinary savoir-faire of French decorative arts ā¤ļø by @feauboiseries

A pair of extraordinary double doors dating to the 1780s, richly adorned with arabesques and discreetly erotic motifs, in the spirit of Bélanger and from the Rousseau brothers.

Rooted in the refined world of the French royal court, these exceptional doors embody the exquisite ornamental tradition of the era- created for the Crown, the King’s buildings, and the private pleasures of Marie-Antoinette ✨ by @feauboiseries

Some New York pleasures are best taken slowly: the Old Masters at the Frick, a visit to our Townhouse on the Upper East, a little architectural reverie at @feauboiseries. Their jewel-box-like gallery in the D&D Building is a cabinet of collectible wonders: carved panelling, antique boiseries and all manner of things to covet. A must-visit for aesthetes in the city this summer. taken in New York by @feauboiseries

In London’s Chelsea district, a patinated oak interior unfolds through a dialogue of horizontal grain, sculptural cornices with finely carved scarabs, an elegant expression of Pierre Yovanovitch’s distinctive approach to historic interiors šŸ’š

A rare surviving décor by François-Joseph Bélanger that we had the privilege of loaning for the Retour aĢ€ l’antique exhibition at the ChaĢ‚teau de Rambouillet. Two complete walls were reinstalled alongside period furniture of the type Bélanger originally used in his interiors.

Created in the 1780s, this exceptional ensemble is a rare testament to a body of work that has almost entirely disappeared. Bélanger is believed to have designed nearly 100 décors, most of which have been lost over time. Originally conceived as hand-painted papers (dominos) applied directly to walls, these remarkable panels -more than 30 in total- were exceptionally mounted on canvas stretchers, a unique decision that ensured their survival through the centuries.

The preparatory drawings, now preserved at the Louvre, were initially attributed to Bélanger himself before later being reassigned to his studio director, Monsieur Cietti.

To see this décor reassembled today, alongside furnishings that echo its original installation, was to rediscover the remarkable vision of one of the most innovative architects of the late 18th century.
