Lots of you have been in touch with me and @jackravi to ask whether there will be an Artful Memories Challenge again this April. We’re happy to say yes!

This year it will be a little different.

The same inspiring, poetic prompts, but focused across 10 days instead of the whole month.

The challenge started five years ago to explore the many ways of making art with found photographs. We encourage that this original intention be honoured in this year’s challenge.

So get your old photos ready as the prompts will be released on Monday!

Designed for beginners and experienced creators alike, this course explores the world of collage through four dynamic classes focused on materials, techniques, and the rich history of collage.

You’ll practice precise blade techniques, create paper art using cardstock, and design 3D layered pieces in small boxes. We’ll also look at the evolution of collage and the key artists and movements that shaped the medium.

Each session includes step-by-step, hands-on projects, giving you space to follow your own creative path while strengthening your technical skills.
