The post I wish I didn't have to do. Today, 26/09/2024, I had both my road bikes stolen. They were much loved, tuned up to make them feel like an extension of my body. Old tech and niche choices, I hoped would not attract much attention and yet this morning they were not there anymore.
Both very distinctive spec:

@canyon Ultimate CF SL 7 rim brake L, @lunwheels Hyper 23 SE R45 wheels, @absoluteblack.cc 53 ring, @shimanoroad 105 groupset, H31 12cm cockpit, @rovalcomponents Alpinist seatpost, @canecreekusa EE G3 brakes, @selle_italia Novus Boost saddle.

@velobuild.bikes VB-R-068 L, @primebikecomponents stem and bars, @vision_tech_usa SC 55 wheels, Selle Italia Novus Boost saddle, @wheeltopglobal EDS-TX groupset

I hope to see them again... 🥲 by @fede1275

Heatwave and tyre pressure: I did not consider how much harder the tyres go when it's hot and in temperatures above 30C the bike felt rock solid! Make sure you allow 5 or even 10 psi below your normal pressure to allow the air to expand due to the increased external temperature.
