I got my O1 Visa renewed in August, I blinked, and it’s mid October!

For the past 6 years on this visa, I never fully appreciated my legal title: “Extraordinary Alien”. I recently came to enjoy how it validates the (extraordinary or outlandish?) rhythms I sometimes sustain as a freelancing theatermaker. Happening this month:
1. Wrapped up my first session at The Mercury Store for their Directing Lab, where I’m workshopping an idea for a new interactive show.
2. Designing Costumes for a super fun and silly new musical by @eric.kofman opening this weekend! Check out @seven.million.musical
3. Designing Costumes & Props for a new, moving play at @iatitheater, directed by @thestageisaworld with fantastic collaborators (and friends) opening in November!
4. Co-designing Props with one of my best friends @taylorcozort at @thefleatheater , directed by @dangambini , opening next week! Check out @liviaaromantragedy
5. Developing a new musical as a Teaching Artist & Director for @actionplayarts most Sundays until May!
6. Kicked off another semester as a Co-Teaching Artist for @bushwickstarr with my dear @clarawiest for Big Green Theater, climate justice-centered educational afterschool program offered to elementary public schools in Bushwick
7. Casting Directing 7 actors for a project for a major client!
8. Making time as a playwright from time to time to focus on my play commission for @etaliatheater
9. I’ve been taking portraits of wonderful people very frequently, and finding great joy in selecting and editing each photoshoot before going to bed. Check them out at @fedeboh_photography

busy, busy, busy. And so, very, grateful.
