This celebration proved that color isn’t the opposite of romance. It’s an amplifier of it. ❤️Terracotta vessels overflowed with dahlias, zinnias, and garden roses in every shade of sunset, while blush tapers stood tall against sage silk runners. Rega, no. L’anello non è nascosto nel sedano. Io un anello me lo sarei venduto il giorno dopo. Non sopporto anelli, orecchini, bracciali, collane, tutto ciò che mi costringe il corpo, per me, è insopportabile. Ho provato a mettermi nei panni di Federico e domandarmi cosa avrei offerto a me stessa se mi fossi chiesta di sposarmi: non ho trovato risposta. Lui invece sì. In quella che doveva essere una proposta così, improvvisata (che tanto sappiamo già esattamente TUTTO di come sarà organizzato quel giorno, ma Fede ci teneva comunaue a proporsi) è riuscito, non semplicemente ad inginocchiarsi (cosa, per lui, già di per sè disciplina para olimpica) ma, con un lampo di genio - che, si sa, è fantasia, intuizione e velocità d’esecuzione - ha preso ciò che stava facendo (il ragù per cena) e l’ha moltiplicato all’infinito. A chi tuttavia ancora non fosse giunto il valore della cosa, la spiego:Un anello si compra una volta e via. Il ragù bisogna prepararlo per sempre. Ho detto Sì. There are sessions that remind you exactly why you do this.Walking through Florence with Morgan & Aaron, from the narrow streets of the city center all the way up to San Miniato al Monte, felt less like a photoshoot and more like a conversation. The kind where nobody needs to fill the silence, because everything is already being said. April light in Florence is something I’ll never stop being grateful for. By the time we reached San Miniato, the sun was sitting just behind the city, and for a moment the whole of Florence turned gold beneath us. That kind of light doesn’t ask you to pose. It just asks you to feel.And these two, they felt everything. What moves me most isn’t the images we made that afternoon. It’s knowing this was just the beginning. Next year I’ll be with them again, for the day that matters most.
