🇳🇬 Another development in Nigeria’s luxury entertainment space!

Nile Luxury Cinemas @nileluxurycinemas has partnered with Federal Palace Hotel & Casino, Lagos, to bring The Pod, its private luxury cinema concept, to the hotel. @federalpalace

The partnership, formalised on October 12, marks an expansion of the concept beyond its first location at The Delborough Lagos. The Pod offers guests a more private and personalised way to enjoy movies, combining cinema with a premium hospitality experience. 🎬🇳🇬

It’s another example of businesses exploring new ways to deliver entertainment experiences in Nigeria.

What do you think about the idea of having a private cinema experience for your movie nights? 👀

Nile Luxury Cinemas has partnered with Federal Palace Hotel, Lagos, to expand The Pod, its private cinema concept, into a new hospitality setting.

Having more than 1,000 bookings at its first location, the expansion reflects growing demand for more private, personalised ways to experience film.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Dr Bukky George-Taylor, Vice President of Nile Luxury Cinemas, said the response to the first Pod reinforced the vision behind the concept.

“Our first Pod proved something we believed from day one: Lagos doesn’t just want to watch films; it wants to own the room. In under a year, over a thousand private screenings told us the appetite is real. Bringing The Pod to The Federal Palace Hotel, one of the city’s most storied addresses, is the natural next chapter. This is the start of a new category in Nigerian hospitality: private, curated cinema built around the people in the room.” by @federalpalace

Last chance to see Dufuna at @federalpalace Hotel & Casino.

If you haven’t yet visited the Dufuna Canoe installation by Lokoja Dialogues, there are just a few days left to experience it in Lagos.

Inspired by the Dufuna Canoe - one of the world’s oldest known boats, discovered in Yobe State - the installation invites us to think about Nigeria’s relationship with water across time: our histories, communities, changing landscapes and shared future.

Dufuna will be on display at the Federal Palace Hotel & Casino until 30 September. If you’re in Lagos, we encourage you to visit before it closes.
