Did I sign up for the half marathon? Yes.
Did my feet agree with that plan? Absolutely not. 😅
After a stubborn injury and my doctor and podiatrist strictly telling me « don’t do it, » my heart won the debate, so I downgraded to the 8k.
I literally promised myself yesterday that I would just walk it... but once I crossed the start line, my body said « actually, we’ve got this » and I ended up running the 8 km in 59 minutes! 🏃‍♀️🔥
Walking was painful just before the race, but being out there today reminded me exactly why I love running so much. It was the best reality check and the perfect motivation boost to stick to my healing process.
Not the original plan for the Royal Victoria Marathon, but a huge win for the spirit! Now, back to proper rehab mode. 🩺❤️ #rvm #royalvictoriamarathon #raceroster #runningcommunity by @fediarose

No teasers, no previews.
By the time the overlapping makes sense, the mystery is over.

Leave me unsupervised for 5 minutes and l’Il turn a quiet Friday into a whole movie.
Saturday: Woke up completely confused, but with a new best friend. Harissa power activated.
