Both Fee boys have earned the honor to represent the Oceanside REDS baseball Rep team again this summer❤️⚾️❤️⚾️❤️⚾️❤️⚾️❤️⚾️❤️⚾️❤️⚾️

Compared to this picture last year the fence is a just little more broken, the worn off grass is that more replaced by turf, and the boys are a little bit taller compared to that fence….. and I already don’t want this season to end 😭

They have worked hard to get to this point (eg.baseball in the yard every second of every day, proof of broken fence included;) and this select team designation gives them three additional opportunities:

1. To work even harder and prove themselves all over again.
2. To gain new friendships, cheer on teammates, witness excellent leadership, and learn how to conduct themselves both on and off the field.
3. To gain perspective on the soul-crushing losses that only the game of baseball can dole out. Some games are a loss by 1000 cuts, and you need to be able to bounce back from that. It’s about the process. The character being built in the in-between. It’s all about who you surround yourself with 👊

They have tickets to sell for their annual raffle
$5 per ticket. Prizes are awesome!!

Track & Field!!
What an awesome day in June!! I happened to not be working that day, and was able to volunteer.
The kids showed resiliency! You could tell a lot of them didn’t want to participate, but they did it anyway.
Anthony came away with some wins, before he got hit in the head with a ball and couldn’t continue 🙄
Long toss, and sprints he had in the bag!!
The best part was he had a three-time tie with his best buddy at long jump before he was edged out for fourth place.
My very favourite memories from school were Track & Field day every year. We recently lost a classmate who passed way before her time……
I’ll always remember the battles her abd I had at the track!! Rest easy my friend. by @fee.alison

The U8 Stingers took Gold 🥇 in the halfway season tournament this weekend ⚽️
Asher scored 7 goals in 96 minutes of play.
