Omar is 18 today and I’m not ok 🥹. Proud is such an understatement, once you learn to drive my boy you will have done everything they said you wouldn’t! He received his 2nd college acceptance today on his birthday to his 1st choice school 🥹. I just keep trying to count and figure out where all the time went. I have learned so much from being his Mom yall! In undergrad having a child like what was I thinking 😂😂 but we did it!!!! One Year Anniversary Trip 🖤🖤

We made it to ONE ☝🏾 year y’all! Ok so here’s a recap of what I learned….

1. Blended families can be hard, but so rewarding when things come together. The more people who genuinely love your children they better off they are.

2. Love is a very organic emotion, but you absolutely need more

3. Stay up late/get up early, say yes when you low key want to say no

4. Go on the trip!!! The memories you make will be priceless, I promise all the bills will be right there when y’all get back

5. Remember to say thank you often and never shy away from a “I’m sorry.”
