Last quarter, our worked reached 600+ children from more than 5 schools and communities in the Shai Osudoku District of Ghana through literacy, arts, and digital learning. Ten new Library Corners are underway in schools that had none. 150 learning backpacks complete with much-needed literacy supplies reached children who needed them in five last-mile communities.

A former Libraries Without Walls learner named SELINA TETEVI came back, not as a beneficiary, but as a volunteer, teaching in the same community where she first learned to read. Selina is now an Aspire scholar through our Aspire Scholarship Program.
Numbers tell part of the story. People tell the rest.

We are so pleased to welcome the remaining scholars of our second cohort of our @aspireinitiative_ to our alumni community.

Over the last three years, these young people received educational support made possible through the sponsorship of @hopefeathers_ .

All of them have now completed their senior high school education and are set to start their gap years and other endeavors.

Congratulations to the scholars and we thank HopeFeathers for their enduring support ! by @feedghanaorg

We are so honored to have celebrated not just the 8th Anniversary of @librarieswithoutwalls but also, the amazing young people who drive the change we make.

Our @librarieswithoutwalls Mobile Literacy & Creativity Hub made a stop at one of our learning spots in Ayikuma.

There we engaged several children of the Compassion International Ayikuma CYDC programme in a creative expression session.

The beneficiaries were guided to create their own art from start to finish. We were truly moved by the creativity and poise of the children.

Arts intersects with and reinforces literacy. We thank our volunteers and partners for their support ! by @feedghanaorg

Our @librarieswithoutwalls Mobile Literacy and Creativity Hub brought creative expression and STEM learning to students of the Fort Amsterdam School as part of a back to school campaign with @ftfghana.

We were incredibly awed by the boundless imagination and creativity of the more than 40 students who participated in our activities!

Key Activities:

Art Session: Students painted ocean characters, letting their creativity shine while learning about environmental conservation.

STEM Exploration: Kids experimented with automobile moving parts, to gain hands-on experience.

Upcycled Art: Toilet paper holders were transformed into unique art pieces to promote creative thinking.

We’re thrilled to have inspired young minds and look forward to more innovative collaborations! by @feedghanaorg

Our @librarieswithoutwalls program Community Literacy Caravan always set the stage for a storytelling session for the children we serve.

On this occasion, we were at the ValleyLand School with Goethe Institut Ghana to bring books and reading excitement to the children! by @feedghanaorg

With the support of Goethe Institut Ghana, our @librarieswithoutwalls program has activated a new library corner at the ValleyLand School.

Since there is no library in the school, this library corners intervention will boost reading and storytelling time for the children in the school. by @feedghanaorg
