Welcome to The Bloodline @ 109 🩸
A Transylvanian Cocktail Society 🦇

This spooky new speakeasy is tucked into the subterranean level of Hotel Indigo in West Chester, and it’s rumored to be Dracula’s favorite cocktail club. 🧛‍♂️🍸

The Bloodline @ 109 is serving up a whole lineup of craft cocktails, including Butter Beer Old Fashioneds, Basic Witch pumpkin espresso martinis, Hocus Pocus-inspired drinks, clarified cocktails 👻, margaritas and more, all with appropriately spooky names, surrounded by dungeonesque immersive decor.

If you’re looking for somewhere to get into the Halloween spirit without sacrificing the cocktails, this is definitely one to add to your list. 👀

@dolce_zola 🍝🇮🇹

One of my favorite spots for authentic Italian pasta in chester county! I LOVE that you get to choose your pasta noodle—I went with cacio e pepe with scallops (two of my favorites!) and bucatini.

Also on the table:
🐙 POLPO — grilled octopus, rosemary potato purée, rosemary aioli
🍤 SHRIMP AURORA — sautéed shrimp, garlic, white wine, blush sauce, with gemelli pasta

Pasta + seafood + wine = a perfect dinner. 🇮🇹🍷

Ferragosto at @pennswoodswine 🇮🇹🍷☀️ (also my birthday 🥳)

My favorite cocktail & fresh wines & incredible grilled lamb = my perfect summer day.

The Hugo Spritz was made with lemon, mint from the vineyard garden, elderflower + Blanc de Blanc, and the Abruzzesi arrosticini straight off the grill were unreal.

Also sipping on my favorite Penns Woods offerings- the Blanc de Blanc + rosé, with a charcuterie board to snack on. Cheesesteaks, cutlets, cannolis, live music & local artisans rounded out the whole afternoon.

Buon Ferragosto, friends! 🍋🌿🥂

👑THE NOBLE BEEF DIP 👑
thin sliced roasted top round, fresh long roll,
torn burrata, fresh cut herbs, olive oil,
beef jus, served with fries or a side salad

PAN-SEARED SCALLOPS
corn velouté, hand-rolled garganelli pasta, crispy pancetta, torn basil

WAGYU CHEESEBURGER
cooper sharp cheese, chile aïoli, lettuce, tomato, bread & butter pickles, fries, seeded bun

And the cocktails 🍸
PINK PONY CLUB — vodka, liquor 43, guava, strawberry, rosemary, yuzu, egg white
CAPRI SPRITZ — italicus, campari, strawberry, lemon, prosecco
WHISKEY SOUR — bourbon,, lemon, simple, egg white

Also pictured: a few favorites from past seasons — octopus, Cacio e Pepe ravioli, Steak Frites, Calamari, Tuna, & Caesar salad.

And PLEASE don’t sleep on the Wagyu burger during happy hour 👀 They have “girl dinner” AND “boy dinner” and honestly… amazing. 💅🏼🍔 by @feedherphilly

@bar_avalon 🫶🏼 our home away from home in the burbs.
We’ve been coming here since we moved to Chester County last year & it just keeps becoming more our spot. They welcome Dawkins, I keep KITCH sauces stocked at home (the spicy Calabrian is my fave ), and there’s just nothing better than sitting down with their Do It Dirty martini and our usual spread.

Eggplant chips + stuffed long hots + burrata = the bestbite combo. Add the spicy upside down pizza, the short rib with shrimp special (insane), or the chicken cutlet vodka penne and we are very, very happy.

The favorite spot, the comfort spot, the “where should we go tonight?” spot.🤍🇮🇹 by @feedherphilly

50% off 5 oz pours from any open bottle? Don’t mind if I do. 🍷✨

@turksheadwines also has an incredible sangria (don’t skip it) and cocktails, so everyone wins. The corn agnolotti is a summer must, and I almost always order the Suisun Sauvignon Blanc or the Semillon.

Forever one of my favorite spots in West Chester. 🤍 by @feedherphilly
