My first single in over two years, ‘Mayhem’, is out today through @communitymusicdistro

Very excited and overwhelmed to be sharing new music, and feeling very lucky to have such an amazing community around this project to be able to do so!

This song is about facing complacency and the tendency of avoiding confrontation; being vulnerable within yourself and owning it.

Recorded/Mixed in Venus Bay and at @melroseplace.wav
Mastered by @isaacbarter
Drums by @hoooolly_drums & @liamgoughdrums
Piano & BVs by @phoebe__elsworth

Adrenals is out this morning 🐣

Swipe for the most 🤌 unhinged ✨ reviews from my pals

I’m extremely grateful to:
@samesjeymour (prod, mix, many instruments but on this one critically bass and vocals) - for making such a safe and energising space to make music that it really came to life beyond anything I could have imagined
@jakeypickeringdrums - for that half time shuffle of my dreams 🤤 and being endlessly supportive
@ronannicholson for enough pedal steel to make me feel like I’m at the end of a coming of age film
@isaacbarter for mastering skills that are also the speed of 1000 gazelles
@tusharmusicaus and @gagamusicco for some hands down incredible admin abilities and endless encouragement 🙏
@creative.australia who’s support made this project possible

And @gaia.scarf, @rubymostlywright, @localsweetheartmusic, @chungu.mungu and @aairamitra for these chaotic reviews 🫡

If you’d like to add your own unhinged thoughts, dm me (or add to this thread) and I’ll compile the most hectic ones 👌 by @feeldsmusic

Adrenals comes out on Friday wooooo

I’ve been a massive @feeldsmusic fan since 2018 so I’m absolutely stoked that Jimmy is featuring his beautiful voice on this one.

I’ll tell you more about what it’s about on Friday but in the meantime you can pre-save it with the IG link, and if you’ve done something very sexy and boycotted Spotify dm me and I’ll send you a link to listen to it early 😏

Also thank you @m.ridley_ for this picture of my noggin by @feeldsmusic
