tears fill my eyes and gratitude pumps thru my veins as I reread these to make this post.I started this blog (originally called Run On Organic) over 11 years ago as a senior in college.I have wanted to quit many times; sometimes it’s hard to deal with cruel comments, not making a sustainable amount of money, and also not being willing to give on certain things to solve the problem of not enough money - ha. Authentic solopreneurship. It’s a ride. And that’s the fqn truth. It’s not all easy, glamorous, “free products”, etc.But I’ve kept finding a way back — mostly because I have stayed connected to the potential ripple I can make if I’m committed to sharing my truth. I think I’m alive and here on earth for that.I’ve noticed I’ve helped people and that’s actually crazy-feeling to admit and give light to.Thank you from the bottom of my heart to the humans behind these words and for all of your support, big or small, over all of these seasons and years. I promise you, I will continue to be me. i don’t know what this caption is, i’m just gonna write itwhat it has taken to build this woman i have become. i just look at my life with awe. what a path. it’s not pride at all. and not in comparison to anyone else’s path. with my own lens and interpretation. i constantly am reflecting. feels reflexive. it feels like my way of making sense and finding peace with a life lived in many different states, away from people i love, with lots of goodbyes that ripped me completely apart.it’s like i can see all of this happening like i’m a bird watching from the sky above.like: “dang, look at this gal’s life. what a unique compilation of life steps.”to the internet perhaps i’m one thing. to myself i am something completely different.i don’t care about clout or some outward appearance of status or having my life “together.” i miss how people treated me before i had this page. that treatment was less riddled with judgement about what i share and less jealous. i was just treated like a human.i’m here with this huge purpose while also experiencing the raw landscape of emotions, urges, intrinsic desires, thirst for living, all while often feeling misunderstood.i’m just a girl. doing this one life lap.terracotta, sand, st. augustine grass, cement sidewalks, fields, courts. all of these places my legs have taken me.at one point i was a little jesica ann with a big bird one piece swimsuit on the beaches of Jupiter, FL.and now i’m here. i ponder so often at how life is and continues to be such a ride. truly feeling more than ever like a daring adventure - a hot pursuit of howgoodcanthisgethowgoodcanthisfeel.how i exist because my parents met. and their parents had them. and then i get this shot at life.I don’t know what to make of it all. But it leaves me really obsessed with living it, participating in it. the fervor inside of me feels unrelenting.like a sunrise.consistently coming back. i’m going to keep opening my eyes to a new day with curiosity and passion that i won’t allow other humans to extinguish.#makegooduseofyourpulse by @feelmoregooder
