A birthday is more than a celebration. It can also be an opportunity to support something that will continue to make a difference long after the day has passed. ❤️ As Dr. Irene celebrates 60 years of life, we invite you to be part of a vision that is deeply meaningful to her and to the women served by Feet of Grace Foundation: Cedars of Grace. Cedars of Grace will provide a space where women living with limb loss can access rehabilitation, learn new skills and receive the support they need to explore new possibilities for their lives. It is a vision for a place where women can find support, rebuild with dignity and gain the tools and confidence to move forward. Every contribution brings this vision closer to reality. As we celebrate Dr. Irene’s life and legacy, you can help create a future where more women living with limb loss have the opportunity to rebuild their lives with dignity, confidence and independence. Give towards Cedars of Grace today. ❤️ JOIN US IN BUILDING CEDARS OF GRACE Here are the different ways you can give: GoFundMe https://gofund.me/95c214305 Direct Bank Transfer — Nigeria Feet of Grace Foundation United Bank for Africa Naira: 1019430471 USD: 3002100149 Sort Code: 033190424 Swift Code: UNAFNGLA Bank Transfer — Switzerland FEET OF GRACE PostFinance Account: 15-72360-1 IBAN: CH59 0900 0000 1507 2360 1 BIC/SWIFT: POFICHBEXXX Please give today and help make Cedars of Grace a reality. ❤️ #feetofgrace #60for60 #cedarsofgrace #beyondlimbs #drireneolumese by @feetofgrace
60 Years of Grace. One Legacy of Possibility. On October 1, Dr. Irene Olumese will turn 60. Sixty years is a milestone worth celebrating. But this year, Dr. Irene has chosen to make her birthday about more than a celebration. She is turning her gratitude into a legacy. Her birthday wish is simple: to help build Cedars of Grace, a centre where women living with limb loss can receive the support they need to walk, work and live without limits. Cedars of Grace is being envisioned as a place where women can receive these forms of support under one roof, with the time, care and community needed to begin again. And so, we are inviting you to be part of 60 for 60. Whether it is 60, 600, 6,000, 60,000 in your currency or whatever you are able to give, your contribution can become part of something that outlives a birthday. Give, reshare, and help us bring Cedars of Grace to life! #60For60 #cedarsofgrace #feetofgracefoundation by @feetofgrace

A change in how your prosthesis feels is worth paying attention to, even when there is no visible damage. Changes in your residual limb, weight or activity level can affect the way your prosthesis fits over time. If your socket starts feeling too tight, loose or uncomfortable, it may be time to have it checked by a prosthetist. You don’t have to keep adjusting to discomfort. A proper fit makes a difference in your comfort, mobility and everyday activities. #feetofgrace #beyondlimbs #limblossawarenes #prosthetics #disabilityawarenes by @feetofgrace

A prosthetic limb does not just represent what was lost. It also represents the possibilities that remain and the new ones yet to be explored. Every person deserves the opportunity to define their own future, pursue their goals and decide what is possible for their life. With access to prosthetic care and the right support, that freedom becomes more attainable. #feetofgrace #disabilityinclusion #beyondlimbs by @feetofgrace
Nothing About Us Without Us. People with disabilities deserve the freedom to make decisions about their own lives, big or small. From what to wear to where to live, whose support to accept, and what dreams to pursue. Support should never mean taking away someone’s voice. Inclusion means listening, respecting choices, and allowing people to lead their own lives. Every person deserves to have a say in their own story. #feetofgrace #beyondlimbs #nothingaboutuswithoutus by @feetofgrace
A woman who has lost her limbs should not have to lose her means of earning a living, too. At Feet of Grace, we have seen what becomes possible when women with limb loss are given the opportunity to learn. Through vocational training in tie and dye, fabric cutting, and other practical skills, women are building abilities they can turn into income, businesses, and greater independence. But learning a skill is only one part of the journey. Access to prosthetic care, rehabilitation, and opportunities to earn a living matters, too. That is why Cedars of Grace matters. Our planned centre in Ibadan will bring prosthetic rehabilitation and vocational skills training together, giving women more support to rebuild their lives beyond limb loss. We are working towards a future where losing a limb does not mean losing the opportunity to earn, provide, and pursue your dreams. Help us build Cedars of Grace. Behind every number is a real person. A face, a story, a family, and a life that matters. There are struggles people may never see, difficult days, adjustments, and the work of finding a new way forward. But there is also strength, hope, and the desire to live a full life. At Feet of Grace Foundation, every step we take is about helping women and children with limb loss access the support they need to live fuller lives. That is why we are building Cedars of Grace, a centre for prosthetic rehabilitation, physiotherapy, vocational skills, and other support to help people rebuild their lives.
