🇺🇸 Two months ago I left without knowing exactly what awaited me and I still struggle to find the right words to explain everything this experience has left me.

The Ballroom scene welcomed me, challenged me, celebrated me and corrected me. It taught me that the runway never lies: every time you walk, it shows exactly where you are, but above all where you can still go.

There have been victories I will always carry in my heart, but also losses that taught me something. Because sometimes you grow more from a “not yet” than from a trophy. Every comment, every judgment, every battle, every win and every loss have been an opportunity to learn, improve and understand how far I can push myself.

Because Ballroom is not just about winning a category or taking home a trophy. It is discipline. It is dedication. It is community. It is culture. It is learning to know yourself through the way you occupy a space, tell a story on the runway and leave something of yourself every time you walk.

I stepped out of my comfort zone, found myself in new situations, faced fears, insecurities and expectations, and I come out of it with a stronger, more aware version of myself and with even more hunger to grow.

These two months reminded me that the journey matters as much as the result, that losing does not mean failing, and that winning has even more value when you know the work, sacrifices and dedication behind every single moment.

I had the honor of walking in the States, in the place where this culture was born and continues to live every day through the people who protect it, build it and carry it forward with love, respect and sacrifice.

I saw incredible performances, met extraordinary people and shared spaces with Icons, Legends and talents that I had only watched through a screen.

This experience opened my eyes to people, energies, connections and the true meaning of the word community.

I carry with me every moment, every battle, every loss, every victory, every lesson and every person I met along the way.

And perhaps the most beautiful thing is exactly this: I feel that all of this is not a destination.

It is only the beginning.🇺🇸
