On 15 October at 7pm, we’ll light a candle and join people around the world as part of the Wave of Light, remembering all the babies who have died and the families who carry their love with them every single day.

Whether you are remembering your own baby, lighting a candle for someone you love, or simply want to stand alongside a bereaved family, we would love for you to join us. 🤍

And please don’t worry about having the “right” candle. Any candle will do. It doesn’t need to be a special one or a Wave of Light candle. It’s the moment of remembrance that matters.

If you would like one of our Wave of Light candles, we have made them available at cost price, and we’re not charging postage. We really want anyone who would like one to be able to take part, wherever you are.

If you would like to donate the cost of postage through our website, you are very welcome to, but please know that there is absolutely no obligation to do so. 🩷

Our 5K Butterfly Run is for everyone. You can walk, jog, run or roll, there’s no pressure, just a welcoming community and a chance to connect with others who understand.

Come along, meet the extended Féileacáin family, make new friends and experience the warmth, connection and peer support that makes this event so special. 🦋

Thank you to Lough Rynn Castle for joining us again for our annual Wave of Light. 💗💙

On Thursday, 15th October at 7pm, Lough Rynn Castle will join people across Ireland and around the world as we light a candle and buildings across the country in memory of babies gone too soon.

✨ If you’re nearby, why not take a moment to come and see the castle lit up and shining brightly in memory of the little lives who will never be forgotten.

Every light represents a baby remembered.

💜 Wave of Light | Athy

On Thursday 15 October at 7pm, the Athy community will come together for Wave of Light, remembering babies who have died during pregnancy or shortly after birth.

The evening will be a space for remembrance, support and connection, bringing together families, friends and members of the community affected by pregnancy and baby loss.

The event is taking place at Athy Community Family Resource Centre and has been organised with the involvement and support of Athy Community Family Resource Centre, Athy Lions Club, Parents Plus and Athy Family Support Service.

At 7pm on 15 October, light a candle and join the Wave of Light as communities around the world remember babies gone too soon. 🕯️💜

A huge thank you to Gráinne McSteen and everyone involved in this beautiful evening of remembrance at Jenny’s Café, Tubbercurry. 🕯️

On Thursday 15 October, families and friends will come together to remember babies who have died during pregnancy or infancy, and to support one another through love, connection and remembrance.

📍 Jenny’s Café, Tubbercurry

🗓️ Thursday 15 October 2026

⏰ 6pm – 8.30pm

🕯️ Candle lighting from 7pm – 8pm

The evening will include remembrance packs, refreshments, music and quiet moments of reflection, creating a gentle space for families to remember their babies.

If you are in the area, please consider joining them and lighting a candle at 7pm as part of the global Wave of Light. 💗💙

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us at the Atrium, Trinity College Dublin, to celebrate Joanne Hynes: “Always the Weird Girl” marking ten years of creativity and collaboration with Dunnes Stores.
A special thank you for the incredible support for Féileacáin through the sale of Joanne’s unique one-of-one pieces being sold in support of this very special charity.
