POSTS STORIES REELS

Most of you already know that I am a huge fragrance head. As I started digging deeper into the niche perfume scene, I discovered all these absolutely stunning perfume bottles. In order to combine my two biggest loves, I decided to start a series of perfume bottle inspired nail art, so this is my first of hopefully many posts in this series 🫶 have to give credits to my bb Sierra @thatglosssauce for giving me the push that I needed to make this happen, ily 🥹😘

This absolutely stunning perfume bottles is Aura by @fplusieurs . I was lucky enough to get my hands on a sample of this beauty, and the name fits it perfectly. The scent evokes the image of hot air above the desert sand, that almost glistens in a way✨. It opens as a spicy citrusy scent from the ginger, pink pepper and bergamot and then it slowly evolves into aromatic woods with a touch of incense. It’s a warm and dry scent that makes you feel grounded.

For this look I used @crackedpolish Catch Those Rays and Back To Fuchsia , a mix of Fresh Pedicure, Grotto, Bloop and Out The Blue with some white creme for the blues and large pearl nail charms that I painted with 7:20 to make them more chrome like (it’s a lot, I know 😅🫪).

I’m lowkey obsessed with this look 😍 and I have a toooon of screenshots of other gorgeous bottles but I do want to ask - is there a perfume bottle you think is gorgeous and would like me to try to paint?

Another color combo of my dreams - plum and baby blue 😍

I used @chillhouse Jam After Dark and Laundry Day 🧺 for this look and I am, yet again obsessed!

I’ve been on a two color combo kick lately, so you will be seeing a lot more of these from me. There is something very satisfying about finding 2 colors that just go together so perfectly ✨

@chillhouse absolutely spoiled me by sending me all of their beautiful polishes 🥹 they’re the creams of my dreams 🤭

I’m convinced there is no better color combo than this 🙂‍↔️😍 (I will say this about many more tho 😂)

@crackedpolish Tomato Tomahto 🍅
@chinaglazeofficial Cuba Diving 🌊

Using a jelly polish as my base definitely made them look extra squishy 🥹

What is your favorite unusual color combo?

I tried taking pictures of these nails more than once and failed miserably every time 😩

Anyways, this was my attempt at magnetic skull nail art. They looked incredible irl but I am not a good enough photographer to capture them on film. I still wanted them on my page because they deserve to be there and I love them 🥲

I used @crackedpolish Shmexy and Stompy for this look. They just go so well together.

Big thank you to @lacquered_threads for teaching me that I can use DRK Magic Effect over magnetic nail art without smudging it. This would not be possible otherwise 🫶

Last weekend I had THE BEST time on a double date with Sanam @nonnailartist and her hubby 🥹🫶 of course we had to do a cute derpy ghost 👻 twin mani for the occasion!

For this look I used:
@crackedpolish Back To The Fuchsia, Antioxidant, Grapeness, 24 Carrots, Negative Space and Ink Blot
@emilydemolly Knight In Armor silver magnetic top coat sandwitched between the jelly layers

Happy almost Halloween!! 🎃 👻

Happy birthday Rish @i.havenails 🦜🫶!!

#HappyBirdDayRish

For your birthday I chose a magnetic polish that is autumn in a bottle - @tychelacquer Hinokami Kagura 🍂. This mani just felt so cozy and like having autumn leaves on my nails, so my styling had to match the vibes. My husband (unknowingly) volunteered one of his lumberjack shirts for the occasion 🤭

Rish, I am so happy I got to meet you in person in Chicago 🫂. You’re fierce and funny as heck, and I keep giggling when we chat. I have no clue what I’ve done to surround myself with such incredible people, but here we are, and I am not complaining lol. I’m very lucky to get to call you a friend and I will cherish our friendship always 🥹

This little party would not be possible without your incredible crew (which I love dearly as well) - @lovemesomesparkle , @shreddedcuticles and @popandpolish 🫶

Happy birthday to my dear friend Asta @shreddedcuticles 🥹🫶

Since we both love the ocean so much, I wanted to do some dark pearl mermaid nails for you this year by using chrome powder over a magnetic base 🧜‍♀️ you can see the glass bead moving underneath in video on slide 2 and it’s so satisfying 🤩! Big thanks to @jackie.shades for teaching me that I can use my Seal Glaze for chromes and I don’t need to go through all the trouble with a peely base (which was why I only did chrome once in a blue moon previously 😅).

You my friend are a gem! I am so grateful to have you in my life and I cherish our mental health check ins so much. Don’t think I ever opened up to anyone as much as I have with you, and it’s all you. You have this way of creating a judgment free safe space that I love coming to. Ily friend and I hope we get to meet in person one day 🥹😘

Big thanks to our fantastic trio of hosts - @lovemesomesparkle , @popandpolish and @i.havenails who went above and beyond, as always 🫶

Happy birthday to my dear friend Martina @lacquered_threads 🥹🫶

Where do I even begin? You are my biggest supporter and a real hype woman and I appreciate you so so much. We have grown very close these past few years and I truly cherish your friendship. Wish you could see yourself through my eyes and realize how talented you are. We are all better people for having you in our lives. You know I am not a mushy person but I guess I am sometimes lol - ily friend 🥹🫶

I’ve beeb seeing these lava lamp nails all over my feed and @lunarlacquers and @nonnailartist gave me the final push with their recent nail art 🫶. I present to you spooky lava lamps meet chonky black cat nail art 😂 I kinda love them to be honest.

Polishes used:

@chillhouse Miss Machina
@crackedpolish Tomato Tomahto, Taro Milk Tea, 24 Carrots, Ooze, Cornea Killer, Grapeness, No Shrubs, Fool Me One Coat and Jokes on You (who am I with this many polishes lol)

Thank you @annikas_artnook for hosting this little celebration with me 🫂

And yes I did post earlier, realized I messed up the hashtag and then deleted my post as a boomer I am, as Chloé would say lol

I’m already sad about deciding to skip PBE next year because I won’t get to hang out with you irl again. Meeting up with you was definitely one of the highlights of my trip 🫂. I already said this so many times but you are extremely talented and picking one of your manis as inspiration was not easy because I liked way too many haha. I’ve been loving your food series, so I went with the sushi one 🍣! That 3D wasabi blob was the most perfect finishing touch 🙂‍↕️

I say this every time I do a 3D mani with regular polish - thank you Sanam @nonnailartist for showing us this trick! Sanam came up with mixing matte top coat with quick dry top coat and polish to be able to form 3D shapes on your nails and it works like a charm. There is a tutorial somewhere on her lovely page, but I typically just mix them in approximately 1:1:2 ratio (matte:qdtc:polish).

Thank you @lunarlacquers for hosting this little birthday celebration with me 🫶 (and doing the most because you’re the best!)!

Couldn’t post the other one without posting this beauty as well - Cranberry Iced Tea by @awesome.nail.polish 🧡

I’m never sure how this type of peachy base will look on me and usually avoid buying them, but this one is special and I enjoyed wearing it even if it maybe doesn’t look the best with my skin tone ✨ (I might be delusional lol)

My magnetic kick continues because I like torturing myself apparently 😂

This beauty deserves its own post - @awesome.nail.polish Ube Swirl Ice Cream 🍦

Fine particle magnetic nail polishes from ANLAC are quickly becoming my favorites. They’re easy to work with and absolutely gorgeous. You cannot tell me that this doesn’t look like gel polish.

Since a few of you asked - glass bead effect done using DRK Nails Magic Effect (over 2 coats of polish that have been fully dried) and @glassbeadpro (for 1 minute on each nail), topped with KBShimmer hydrating base coat (to preserve the glass bead, I don’t magnetize this coat) and Sassy Sauce Shiny Top Sauce (I don’t magnetize this coat either).

I can’t stop trying out my new magnetic polishes from @awesome.nail.polish - this time I am wearing Ube Swirl Ice Cream 🍦 and Cranberry Iced Tea 🫖

When you don’t really have the bandwidth to do nail art, mismatched magnetic polish mani definitely hits the spot 😮‍💨 especially when it’s purple and orange, one of my favorite fall color combos.

I also included one of my picture fails because I thought it was hilarious lol taking nail pics is not an easy task, sometimes you got to readjust your sleeve in the middle of the shoot and your husband keeps pressing the shutter 😂
