On June 30 it’s time for another chapter of my ‘sounds of the seasons’ series on @worldwide.fm
In this episode, a vibrant energy gradually gives way to a mellow warmth. Expect a lot of flutes, plucked string instruments and a piano here & there, accompanying early morning birdsong, summer storms and chirping crickets in the night. Tune in June 30th at 15:00 BST / 16:00 CEST / 23:00 JST or listen back later.

Thanks to everyone who celebrated this spring with us and slowly led us into the new season.
Felbm delivered a performance that showed that repetition does not have to represent exact duplication, but carries a potential to learn and grow through rememberance.

Circles do turn, but in which pace and angle is up to us.
See you the next time around.

On Friday, June 5, Felbm (@felbm) performs live at Tolhuistuin.

Since his debut in 2018 with the Tape series on Soundway Records, the Dutch artist has become internationally known for creating intimate soundscapes where acoustic and electronic sounds seamlessly blend. Inspired by the natural world and changing seasons, his latest work winterspring/summerfall will be performed live with a trio featuring double bass, piano and flute.

The second instalment of my seasons series at @worldwide.fm will air this Thursday at 13:00 GMT.

Expect sounds that reflect nature awakening from a deep rest, as energy begins to flow again. Sunlit moments intertwined with lingering traces of cold, wind, and rain. One might think I’m talking about Spring - and I actually am! Spring is here! And the world is on fire! Let’s turn to nature and find peace there.

🌿🕊️🌿
