Here's some of the stuff I did for @gorillaz 🦍

Is hard to look back sometimes, and think about the dreams I had as a kid, and later think about the stuff I get to do now. Makes me wanna pinch myself sometimes.

I'll be forever thankful to @thelineanimation for the opportunity, and @xavierramonede who never stop teaching me things. @hewll @maxtaylordesign and @tim_mccourt for the direction and all the support. Huge thanks to the coolest production team @evaviolamaria @ekaterina__saiapina @mim_chi_ella and @daisymlink. I had nothing to do with the art department but huge thanks that team for inspiring me everyday with their beautiful work.

Also, all the cave stuff was done by the LEGEND @jonathan_djob_nkondo and I got to help with tiedowns on Russel and the bird.

What a trip life has been! ❤️ by @felipea.nimation

Hello folks, life has been crazy. I haven't been able to work on a lot of personal stuff in a while, which is why I'm now doing my first post of 2026!

So, to get things started here's a quick shot with lots of drama.

If you wanna see how I animate this types of shots, head to my Patreon, where I share my process, timelapses of me animating things from start to finish, and also to download my animation file:

Time to light up the black flame candle once again, because just like the Sanderson Sisters, old shots also come back to life on halloween!! Always a fan of @bettemidler and Hocus Pocus!!

This one is @danila.animation, a hand drawn water animation piece. Caption:

Three weeks on water alone. Worth every frame. 🌊

This is hand drawn water animation at its finest. @danila.animation spent more than three weeks on the water alone for this merman piece, experimenting and improvising until every ripple and splash felt right.

Water is one of the hardest effects in 2D animation. It never behaves the same way twice, and there is no shortcut around patience and obsession with detail. Rough animation by @felipea.nimation, final water built up from that first pass, for @brikktv.

📌 Save this for your water and FX reference library.

Reposting an ooooold one. I animated this shot a while back as a way to exercise micro emotions with as little as possible.

For the repost I also decided to add a few more elements like BG (which I pooly painted myself XD) and also some shadows to bring more dimension to the character. by @felipea.nimation

Hellomy dear internet folks, here's something I forgot to post. Super fun shots I got to do with the folks at @histeria.studios

Thanks to my dear friend @simoes.animation for having me on the team! by @felipea.nimation

Round, round, round we go...

Fixed some pops in the animation, and now I'm playing with colours, lighting and some cel look.

I'm really just having fun building this character and story, let's see where it goes =D by @felipea.nimation

Hey, me again! =D
