After a 7 year journey that has taken us from hope to sadness to loss, we have finally arrived at JOY!

Baby Boy Estefan coming this summer! We can’t wait to meet him!

The first weekend we were in NYC I told everyone that a dream of mine had always been to walk from the tippity top of Manhattan to the tippity bottom. (#broadcitychallenge) At the beginning of April, @felipeestefan and @manateekween joined me in making that dream come true! 16 miles and many hours with two of my favorite people in this amazing city!

Thank you, @ilana and @abbijacobson #millennialdreams by @felipeestefan

Hard launching our New York City era. by @felipeestefan

So, I gave a @ted talk (!). And it starts with me photoshopped into a Backstreet Boys’ picture (scroll through ➡️).

It’s about stories, and:
🗣️ How the “story of us” still leaves most of us out
💭 Why we need to invest in the production companies telling better stories
💫 How curiosity might just save us

🎥 Link in bio to watch.

Thanks to @fabulously_found328 for supporting me throughout the process and to @hfriedler for not letting me delete the Backstreet Boys slide. by @felipeestefan

Dream come true! I’m thrilled to share that I am now a Fellow at the Shorenstein Center on Media, Politics and Public Policy at Harvard Kennedy School!

I will be spending my fellowship exploring mechanisms to drive narrative change and to unlock narrative power. 🎬 📺 🔊

At a time in which our communities are so deeply polarized by narratives and algorithms that spread hate and disinformation, I’m excited to explore how stories can help us better understand one another and imagine the world we truly deserve.

Thank you to the team @shorensteinctr for this incredible opportunity and for welcoming me so warmly! by @felipeestefan

Happy Holidays from The White House! 🎄🎁

Thank you @nickyminaj92! So happy to share this with you and with @luivelpre! by @felipeestefan

After more than 20 years living in the United States, earlier this year I was finally able to become a US citizen. While I continue to be a Colombian citizen, and will always be Colombian to my core, I feel incredibly grateful to hold the rights and responsibilities that come with US citizenship. It is a privilege that many, particularly many Latin Americans, risk their lives to have.

So now, for the first time ever, I voted in a presidential election in the United States.

I voted with gratitude for a country that has given me so much. I voted for democracy. I voted to expand and protect the rights for so many who feel nervous, scared and threatened at this time. I voted for my husband and I so that we can exist and our family continues to be recognized. I voted to reaffirm the promise of this country - that everyone has the inalienable right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. 🇺🇸

“State of Silence” is now on Netflix! It’s been an honor to be an Executive Producer on such an important film, which details the many threats that journalists face in #Mexico.

Thank you to María de Jesús Peters, Juan de Dios García, Jesús Medina & Marcos Vizcarra for sharing their stories of courage.

Thank you to the incredible director @mazai_, producers @diegoluna_ @gaelgarciab and the entire team at @lacorrientedelgolfo for making this film possible.

Thank you to @bernardoloyola7 and the team @netflixlat for believing in this story.

And a huge thank you to all of my colleagues who supported this project: @gustavivo @kristel_mucino @rafael_georges_da_cruz @ferzistecatl @hoodom and so many more!

Please go to @netflix, stream and share! by @felipeestefan

Nothing compares to the feeling of watching one of your films come out into the world! And the feeling is even greater when it is such a special film with such a wonderful group of collaborators.

“Apocalypse in the Tropics”, the incredible new documentary by Oscar-nominated Director @petracostal and Producer Alessandra Orofino premiered at the Telluride Film Festival and in Venice, where it got a standing ovation.

It is a haunting story about the far-right threats to democracy in #Brazil, and a cautionary tale for democracy around the world.

I’m very proud to be an Executive Producer in the film and incredibly grateful for everyone who has made this film possible.

Next up: @camdeniff! by @felipeestefan

I was honored to welcome Nobel Laureate @maria_ressa and Prince Harry & @meghan to Colombia for a conversation with Vice President @franciamarquezm about the impact of social media and AI on our families and our democracies.

Being able to have such an important conversation with such an incredible group of people in my hometown is something I will never forget!

I am so grateful to everyone at Luminate, The Archewell Foundation and the @vicepresidenciacolombia who made this possible. by @felipeestefan
