Happy birthday to my sister, Soror, road dog @huntme08 Angela! May this year bring you all the blessings you so freely give to others. Love you to pieces! ❤️😘🥳 by @felischam

I’m beyond proud of my mentee and fellow (South Side) Chicagoan, @directorseye_08 Addison Belhomme, a gifted young director studying at USC’s School of Cinematic Arts.

Some people don’t have to announce their light. They carry it so clearly that the right people can’t help but notice. And today, that light brought Addison to a historic stage, hand-picked by our Forever First Lady, Michelle Obama, to introduce her at the grand opening celebration for the Obama Presidential Center in Chicago.

Today was a day to remember for so many reasons. But for another girl from the South Side of Chicago, it was also a reminder that your dreams can take you anywhere — to Hollywood, to a stage in front of the first Black President and First Lady of the United States, or anywhere else you dare to go.

Congratulations, Addy! So proud of you!

And thank you to her superstar mom and biggest cheerleader, @freckles2208 Adrienne, for bringing me along on the This is just the beginning!

Last night, we had the pleasure of honoring the legendary Reginald Hudlin with a beautiful tribute at the DGA.

His work has been such an inspiration to me — especially House Party and Boomerang, films that made Black life feel joyful, stylish, funny, romantic, and fully centered. Congratulations to Reginald on this well-deserved recognition!

Shoutout also to the co-chairs and organizers from the African American Steering Committee — @crystlethecreative, @petechatmon, @ericdeanseaton, @kelp1031, @djabbyab, and @hauslights — for such a wonderful event. Was honored to be part of it. 🙌🏾🙏🏾🎉🎬 #DGA #AASC #BlackDirectors #Directors #reginaldhudlin by @felischam

Want to get your TV pilot script read by TWO showrunners, series creators and high-level TV writers?

Our semi-finalists’ scripts will be read by two of these incredible Industry Judges, who will help us determine our 2026 Moonshot Pilot Accelerator fellows! (See full bios on our blog. More judges to be announced soon!)

As a bonus, we have facilitated many connections between judges and semi-finalists who they request to meet with, as many of our judges are looking for new talent to keep on their radar for writers’ rooms and other opportunities. We always ask our judges if there’s anyone they’d like to connect with!

We are so grateful to our Industry Judges for sharing their time and expertise with us, and for helping further our mission of advancing gender equity in the film and TV industry!

Our final deadline for the Moonshot Pilot Accelerator is just days away (Wednesday, May 27), so submit your script via Scrybe! Our selected fellows will have the opportunity to pitch one-on-one to HBO, Netflix, and many more studios, production companies, agents and managers this fall.

We’ve had fellows sell projects to production companies they met through Pitch Week, get representation, and get staffed!

Link in bio to learn more, submit, and see our Cheat Sheet for the application!
