It was just a normal day during Körperversorgung. I always start the day with residents with casual talks like, "Na, hast du gut geschlafen? Hast du heute etwas vor?"

He looked pretty upset lately, and suddenly he said, "Felix, ich will nicht mehr, ich hab kein Bock mehr."

I looked at him and my heart dropped. I’m too familiar with that feeling from an earlier relationship. I tried to relate and told him I could slightly imagine how it feels because my mum used to be sick too. But then I realized whatever I said wouldn't help, and I didn't want to say the wrong thing to trigger him or escalate his negative thoughts.

The versorgung continued, colleagues came and went to help out. Eventually, everything was done. It was just me and him again in his room, and he was sitting in his wheelchair.

I asked him, "Darf ich dich umarmen?"
"Ja, gerne," he replied.

I leaned forward and gave him a long, tight hug. He started sobbing and said, "Ich wusste nicht, wie sehr ich das gebraucht habe. Danke, Felix."

I got really emotional too and was about to sob myself. I just said, "Nein, ich danke dir."

He thought I was helping him, but the truth is, we were just connecting. We were helping each other in a way we didn't even know we needed. Every tiny little thing counts.

Digging up some oldies from my ipad which i have never posted. And its fun to look at how i used to be. Its kind of a shitty cover that's why i never posted it.

I remember one time when my Mother in Law came visit us in Kiel, i sang her this song in morning and Janosch (my exhusband) was sitting next to us. It was a beautiful morning.

Life was beautiful back then haha 🥲

Today was proof that good vibes find you right when you need them most. Honestly, work was so stressful today because we were super understaffed, but three unexpected moments completely turned things around. Just wanted to share this to remind myself of my own worth and how important it is for me to appreciate all these tiny moments that happens in my life. Ich bedanke mich 🫶🏻

🧡On my way to work, this middle-aged lady walking her dog stopped me and goes: "Jedes Mal, wenn ich dich seh, denk ich, du bist ein Yakuza."I laughed and was like: "Nein 😂 bin ich nicht. Ich bin eigentlich voll nett und arbeit' da in dem Heim."Then she goes: "Ja, das weiß ich. Ich mach doch nur Spaß. Ich weiß, dass du nett bist, hab ich schon mal von Herrn XXX gehört."Oha! Talk about a massive mood boost. Yea, turns out she visits one of our residents very regularly. :)

🩵One of my coworkers randomly handed me her food because she packed it but wasn't hungry anymore. It was so sweet of her and I was incredibly grateful, especially since I've been really struggling to eat lately.

🩷This happened right before clocking out. My coworker came up to me and said: "Felix, ich hab schon mal mit XXX (den anderen Kollegen aus Polen) über dich geredet. Das geht einfach nicht, du musst auf dich selbst aufpassen. Du musst essen, du musst die Ex-Freundin vergessen und weiterkämpfen. Du bist noch jung."

I mean, I don't really feel that young anymore, but it meant so much to know they actually care and are looking out for me. We ended up hugging it out.

Today reminded me that I matter. Still, i need to learn how to unhate myself 🙌🏻

Time to wrap up my Asia trip .it was somewhat chaotic and amazing at the same time.
Thank you again to my family and friends for your hospitality , your patience and your tolerance for my craziness. I have had a great time with all of you sincerely.
Thank you @bitsandpiecesofusandthem and @yanci.joanne for being this chill parents and making the most out of it with me all the time.
