If you’ve been following along I’ve been posting today’s thoughts on my stories. But they only showed parts of what I was journaling about. In a moment of vulnerability I’ve decided to share today’s thoughts in their entirety on Substack. As a beautiful friend put it, “It’s vulnerability with visibility.” I’m excited to meet you in this space where I’ll share with you parts of my personal life expressed via my writing. Please interact with me in this space as we build community here. But most importantly it would mean the world if you subscribed.

This journey hasn’t been easy. But it’s felt easier with my family and chosen family sitting with me and talking and loving me in this moment of life. A moment where I’ve been so authentically myself in ways I’ve never been. Letting my people see me as I am. Vulnerable and so wholly me. And it’s in these moments with you all that I’ve been able to begin to find myself again. So familiarly unfamiliar. Words can’t begin to express how much your love has meant to me; keeping me out of those dark caves of life. And saying thanks doesn’t even come close to being able to communicate how grateful I am to each of you.

But, thank you for seeing me. For helping to guide me to this moment where I get to discover myself on a deeper level and learn what this new chapter holds for me. I love you all so much!

I’ve always promised myself the sunset. Because it’s always been a moment where I get to stare deep into the beauty of the clouds, watching the sun dance with each of them. It’s been a daily practice that has reminded me of the beauty of life.
It’s reminded me to surround myself with the people that matter most and while they’re not all pictured here, they’ve been the ones who have loved me so unconditionally. So deeply.
Moments captured but I wish the feelings of each experience could be felt. The laughter. The happiness. The joy. The love.
I only wish I could bottle up the feelings of this chapter, that way I could come back to them every now and then.
My heart is happy and soul is joyful. Grateful for this beautiful life of mine and the people that are in it.
