I have let myself go.

Finally I have not found some sort of inner peace or acceptance in the body I inhabit and it’s distinct polar opposites from the long, lithe and limber who luxuriate in both body and mind.

I have been in constant flux a juxtaposition betwixt begging to be invisible and simultaneously seen and heard.

I am too loud and too quiet. Too somber and too outlandish.
My speech is garbled too fast and also too slow.

The roads less travelled are those from cortex to vocal cords; impeding my voice. Incoherence a sly war

I share my mind and body with trauma and it’s associated physiological and psychological symptoms.

I am never alone I have a head so full of racing thoughts and repulsive voices that crawl out into my rooms to all rooms to open spaces.

Half a century of self medication and their medication of myself.
To feel nothing to feel something.

Striped homo sapiens; their lines of Blaschko akin to noble panthera tigris. I lurk as sepioloidea lineolata; crosshatched nurture failed to thrive. Unnatural alien. My striations clawed in rows; ghastly vivid.

A dulled roar peaceful but no less violent. Scarification in quadrants; ritual penance and stopped clock. A solitary halcyon repose.

I have let myself go. by @felonyjayne
