So this is the big one, this is plushie number 200! A very special little Gumbie Cat for @megskilove, who I've had the joy of seeing in this role quite a lot! 😸🥳 Long post incoming!

It's so wild to think that I've made 200 of these little guys. When I made the first one over a year and a half ago I never would have imagined that it would have turned into this. I really just wanted to make a fun little gift for a couple cast members and now we're here! It's crazy what one idea can turn into. Having made this many is such a big achievement for me, it's never something I set out to do. But as the new tour cast came in and commissions kept coming I saw that I would hit this milestone sooner rather than later, and honestly I got pretty excited. So I've had this one planned out for about a month and I was so excited to finally start work on her. I made Jenny with the Gumbie outfit for plushie 100 and I really wanted to see how I've improved since then and what new techniques I could use on this one. I'm still so proud of that one I made for 100, and this one wouldn't exist without it. But I'm extra proud of this one here, I feel like I've really put my creativity on display here.

I tried a lot of new things on this one and I think she turned out great. I got some actual fringe trim and dyed it yellow, I made her little poofy collar with nearly 3 yards of ribbon, and did a front closure for her coat instead of a back closure. Overall I think she's wonderful, and I'm so excited with how she turned out.

Thank you to anyone who has commissioned me, shared my posts, commented on my stuff, just any support for my art really. Any and all of it means so much to me. I wouldn't have made it to this big milestone without the feelings of appreciation and support from everyone.

Here's to... maybe not quite 200 more, but whatever I come up with next. ✨ by @feltical_cats

Three theatrical cats 🎭 @feltical_cats by @feltical_cats

🥳 They’re done! This is my big project I've been working on since September, little Jellicles for the current US tour cast of @catsthemusical 😸 I am so immensely proud of this batch of plushies, I was able to experiment with a lot of new designs that I'm really happy with. It's been such a labour of love to make these and I cannot wait to hand them all out in a couple weeks at the final Cats shows of 2022. This cast is so incredibly talented and this is just my way of thanking everyone for bringing their artistry to this show I love so much. I'll be posting individual photos of these guys soon as well, I just couldn't resist taking a bunch of group photos.
💚💚

A little trio of kitties that I finished up last week for @_hysterical_cats_ based off of their designs for Bombalurina, Munkustrap, and Demeter! These were super fun to work on, the designs are so unique and have a lot of cool details that were fun to incorporate into my style. They all turned out so vibrant and I am so pleased with how they look! 😸 by @feltical_cats

Newest trio of kitties for @lopeznakahama 😸 This one was so fun to work on, it was a totally new challenge. We have Macavity and his hench-cats in the form of Pouncival and Tumblebrutus. I have never gotten the chance to make the hench-cats before and they were a blast to work on. They have their little removable masks as well as the shoulder pauldrons that the US Tour 6 costumes have. Sometimes design elements can be a little hard to translate on this tiny scale, but I'm really happy with how they came out.
Additionally the Pouncival was designed after @dominicfortunato_ 's US Tour Pounce, and I haven't made this design in nearly FOUR years! 🙀 I was really stoked to revisit it after all this time and I think he turned out so cute. I'd love to get to revisit some other US Tour 6 designs in the future if I can!

Hope you all like these guys! ❤️‍🔥 by @feltical_cats

Little trio of kitties that I finished up earlier this month for @lopeznakahama ! 😻 We have a Carbucketty inspired by many different iterations of the character, and a US tour Bill Bailey and Victor! I especially love how this Carbucketty turned out, this golden yellow is one of my favorite colors to use. 💛🤍🤎🖤 by @feltical_cats

It's been a bit quiet on my end, sorry about that! But here are two kitties I made last month for a commission! They are 98 style Tugger and Munkustrap, which believe it or not I don't make very often! I've only done 98 Tugger one other time, and I've never made Munkustrap in this style. So that was really fun to figure out, I'm really happy with how he turned out in particular since his was an entirely new design for me. I hope you all like them!! 😸 by @feltical_cats

I continue to find commissions I've forgotten to post! 😅 This trio of kitties went out to @lopeznakahama a good while ago, and I still couldn't be more happy with them! The Victoria especially, I just loved how she turned out. Victoria is always so fun to make because her accents can be done in any number of colors and she still turns out so striking each time. 🤍 by @feltical_cats

Little Shiki style Munkustrap I made for @emperorrainbow ! 😸
I honestly can't remember if I've ever made another Shiki style cat before, if I have it was one and it was a long time ago. So this was really fun! Shiki designs are super cool and really set apart from the London and Broadway styles. I absolutely loved how this guy turned out and he has to be one of my favorite plushies I have ever made. by @feltical_cats

This is a Skimble I made MONTHS ago (as you can see by the very green grass 😭) and totally forgot to post. But I love this little dude! He had a more complex facial pattern than other Skimbles I've done before and I had to adjust the eyes a bit to make it work, but overall the finagling paid off! Hope you all enjoy this very belated railway cat. 🚂🚂 by @feltical_cats

Three kitties I finished up for a commission recently. 🤩 This Old Deuteronomy in particular I was very happy with, I used a self-striping yarn that had every color I needed and I was just so glad I found that! I'll need to track it down again if I ever want to make another.

The Misto I used glitter on this time, which is something I've never done! Just wanted to experiment this time around. I don't think it ended up making too big of a difference in the long run but he does look nice. 🤩 by @feltical_cats

It's been way too long since my comms were open, and my lovely 1970s death trap is in need of some repairs. So the Feltical machine is back open!💚 I know most of you know me for my Cats art but I am open to make just about anything, so if there's a beloved pet or a character you'd like me to bring into the felt world I would love to work with you! 😺 by @feltical_cats
