My sweet, sweet, sweet babygirl. I love you forever and ever and ever and ever and ever, to the moon and back a million times 💛

September 5th we had to say goodbye to our sweet little girl. It’s hard for my head to wrap around that, feels like she’s just been away for a while and going to get dropped off soon, but my logic tells me otherwise. At first we put all her things away because it was too painful, then two days later I had to take all her beds back out and put them back where they were. A part of me almost felt bad that we got rid of her food and water bowls, because then what would she eat from? But I know she’s off to the other place that everyone goes to, and I hope she’s having the time of her life. One day I’ll let go of the beds, but my sweet, sweet angel has a home in my heart ❤️ forever. by @felyfabiola.creates

Some gratitude for Ubiquity from last Sunday🤍

Thank you to @rijobeats, @paze_infinite and @cryp_uno for creating a space for us to come together and shout out to @djjaytech for squeezing @wearecouplestherapy into his new papa life and jumping on stage with us. Thank you @nicolasluna for the uhMAZing show graphics and thank you to the talented @brunopieroni, who not only created our merch logos but also took the pics and vids in this post. 🤍 And thank you to @lunamoon2077 for taking care of the door and our merch which in my opinion is the toughest part 😆.

A very special thank you to everyone who came out and cheered us on — y’all the best, for real for real. It means so much to us.

Feeling very grateful for all of it.

I realize I don’t post much outside of promoting an upcoming show. That must change 🫠.

Here’s a sneak peak into my home makeshift rehearsal space.

16 years ago this month I moved to NYC. I wasn’t sure what I was looking for but I knew something was waiting for me here.

One of the scariest things I’ve done since was finding my way back to the stage. And what better place to do it than one of the greatest cities in the world?

Still working on making it here, so I can make it anywhere. ;)

Come watch Couple’s Therapy this Sunday at Wild East Brewing in Gowanus. Show starts at 1pm. Hope to see you there!

“Wool Over the Eyes” origin story

Some 🎥 by @patrickfischer.is
this beat came from a sample flip with my producer collective Whiskey at 7. Fely heard it and we decided to just… make a song. no pressure. no goal. just finish something for fun.

I asked her what the beat was saying. she said “I don’t know.” so I typed that into an empty doc and started writing. “I don’t know” became the opening line. the rest just poured out. we recorded a rough demo piece by piece that same session — quick, no time to overthink it.

somehow it’s still one of our favorites to perform.

Come see us perform in August
August 16th at UBIQUITY - Wild East Brewing Brooklyn.
August 29th at Frequency Fest - Governors Island by @felyfabiola.creates

“If it isn’t fun, then what’s the point?” — Fely

a peek at us figuring out Shaman before performing it live for the first time a while back

anyone who knows me knows i take this music thing seriously. sometimes TOO seriously. fely’s unofficial job is reminding me it’s supposed to be enjoyable.

“put your feet up if you have 10 toes!”

as much as it pains me to admit, @felyfabiola.creates is right from time to time. let the fun things be fun.
