𝑨𝒍𝒆𝒙𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒆𝒓 𝑷𝒐𝒘𝒆𝒓𝒔 (aka Female Wizard) hosts a night of performance art fundraising for the crucial Incarcerated Trans and Gender Diverse Fund.⁠⁠The Incarcerated TGD fund is a a community fund to support currently and recently incarcerated trans and gender diverse people in so called ‘Australia.’ The aim of this fund is to generate financial assistance to support people while inside, to aide in their release and with re-establishing life back in their community.⁠⁠Incredible lineup of phenomenal talents including 𝑱𝒂𝒄𝒐𝒃 𝑪𝒐𝒑𝒑𝒆𝒅𝒈𝒆 (AKA Blu Jay), Misc performance curatoress 𝑨𝒓𝒊 𝑨𝒏𝒈𝒌𝒂𝒔𝒂, 𝒀𝒖𝒎𝒊 𝑼𝒎𝒊𝒖𝒎𝒂𝒓𝒆, 𝑺𝒕𝒂𝒄𝒆𝒚 𝑪𝒐𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒆, 𝑵𝒆𝒍𝒍𝒚 𝑪𝒍𝒊𝒕 + plenty more.⁠⁠Thursday 23th July, with all proceeds donated direct to the fund. For Anyone Who’s Ever Mourned… June 9th12 hours inside a dirt circle, preceded by a 5 hour walk from VCA to Beaumaris beach. Thank you @celestedeclario for these photos. Everyone that showed up kept complete silence for all 12 hours, letting me know the time each hour. I was scared that this performance would feel like torture, but every second, whilst laborious, felt extraordinary. I could not have done it without my friends in attendance, their presence was more than spectatorship, they took part in and completed the work. by @female_wizard
