#HomeTeam Challenge

🇧🇯 Team Benin may be in South Korea, but the support from home is felt all the way here! ❤️

As we represent Benin at the @f1rstglobal Challenge 2026 in Incheon, we’re reminded that this journey is bigger than the five students on the competition floor. It’s about everyone back home cheering us on, believing in us, and being part of this journey.

To our home team and everyone supporting us from Benin, thank you for standing with Team Benin! 🇧🇯

For the @f1rstglobal #LeadTheWay challenge, we had the pleasure of meeting journalist and TV presenter @finafa_rebeca_kindjanhounde! 🎤🇧🇯

A journalist and presenter at the Télévision Nationale du Bénin, she is passionate about technology, digital strategy, and promoting a more inclusive digital space.

Thank you for taking a moment to encourage Team Benin and wish us good luck on our journey to Incheon! ❤️🤖🇧🇯

And of course… when she says “Team Benin,” the team has to answer! 😂🙌🏾

🎥 Team Benin on the road to Incheon! 🇧🇯🤖🇰🇷

Yesterday, Team Benin was featured on ORTB, as we continue our preparation for the FIRST Global Challenge 2026 in Incheon, South Korea.

Our students shared what brought them to robotics, the challenges of preparing the robot, what it means to represent Benin alongside over 190 countries, and what they hope to take away from this experience.

The interview also explored the journey of FemCoders, and Team Benin’s participation in @f1rstglobal since 2017, and our hopes for the future of STEM and robotics in Benin.

Below is the video🎬🇧🇯
