Yesterday was a travel day and we celebrated a couple of days before, but here is the birthday recap for our Sunshine ☀️ baby! We are so very proud of how far you have come! We live at the intersection of grief and joy, but this week we celebrated 2 milestones. Frankie started clapping and Luca said” I love you” for the very first time. (With words that is☺️We know he loves us)I’ve been so worried while still trying not to let it rob us of all the joy of our last baby. For those who don’t know delayed clapping is often found in the medical history of apraxic kids. Luca did not start clapping till age 2.Our little guy has been through a lot, but he’s always so happy and strong. He’s doing so good and has come such a long way.
