It has always been in my interest and passion to keep alive the memories of my environment especially that of any new abode I find myself.
But God's plan is just the best, when the time isn't right yet there is no such effort you put, It just wouldn't show.

This is another memory to keep alive about the time I'm still struggling to be a photographer as much as I could.

These images are excerpts from Akwa-Ibom NYSC camp cultural day.

Grateful to God for his immeasurable blessings and mighty mercy over me.
Grateful for the gift of supernatural relationships and the gift of friends and family.
Trusting God for the years ahead.
I wish myself more fervency, focus, direction and clarity of purpose!

And just as it is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment. Hebrews 9:27

Documenting the burial of late Mr Ogunlana Adesina Esq, popularly known as "Sẹ̀rùbàwọ́n", was a rollercoaster of emotion for me and this act made each click transcends beyond ordinary clicking personally.
Sẹ̀rùbàwọ́n which literally means "bring fear upon them", was a nick given to the deceased due to his fearless approach to silence oppressors anytime he was to speak in the court of Justice in favour of the oppressed during his lifetime.

The late Mr Adesina Ogunlana Esq activism extended beyond courtroom, he was a lawyer that held judicial workers accountable and defended the very soul of our nation against tyranny and injustice.
His work continued through #ENDSARS movement through which his commitments made the panel of inquiry set up by the Lagos state government to compensate families of the victims of #ENDSARS, together he acted as legal solicitor to the arrested #ENDSARS protesters for free.
Infact, he had a magazine tagged SQUIB through which he held Judicial workers accountable amongst many other notable deeds that he performed during his lifetime.

Sincerely, apart from personally knowing him as a man of dignity and valour, everyone present at the burial further buttresses the fact that I knew so little of how great his life was to humanity.
Let's draw inspiration from his legacy, let's stand firm and be courageous in the face of adversity. His simplicity, upholding of the law, fighting for justice and refusal to amass wealth was a testament to the impact one person can make.
Let's as individuals thrive to personally make the change we clamour for.
