2025 was an amazing year, and honestly, it stands out as my best so far. I had the chance to work with some incredible brands in SaaS and Fintech, creating motion designs that Iā€™m proud to showcase in this reel. The year brought bigger opportunities, career growth, and milestones. I am deeply grateful to God for the journey and to every client who trusted me with their projects. Your belief in my work made these results possible and I am proud of what we achieved together. In 2026, Iā€™m taking things to the next level. We brought the award home! šŸ† I still canā€™t believe it. Standing there at the Gen Z Summit, hearing my name announced as the winner of the African Media Excellence Award, I felt a rush of emotions, gratitude, joy, and reflection. This award is not just mine. It belongs to everyone who believed in me from day one. To everyone who took out time to vote, repost, and show love, you made this possible and I canā€™t thank you enough. šŸ™ To the amazing convener of the Gen Z Summit @yinkadavidkaiyewu @purposedriveglobal thank you for creating a platform that celebrates young creatives, dreamers, and doers across Africa. This is one award I honestly didnā€™t see coming. Just like the moment I received the email, I was genuinely astonished. You know why? Being recognized in the Content and Creative Industry at the 100 Under 40 Award honorees is such a great honour, and I certainly donā€™t take it for granted. Although I couldnā€™t be physically present at the ceremony, I had professional responsibilities that required my attention. For my new followers, and for everyone who has been here for a while but doesn't really know much about me, here's a proper introduction. I'm Femi Maven, also known as The King of Value. I'm a Motion Graphics Designer, Creative Director, Public Speaker, and Global Coach passionate about helping brands communicate their ideas through compelling visual storytelling. Over the years, I've had the privilege of working with brands across the Fintech, SaaS, and AI industries, helping them transform complex ideas into engaging visuals through motion design and animation. I'm also the founder of @mavenmint, where we've trained thousands of creatives to create professional motion graphics and animations using just their smartphones. My mission is to prove that creativity isn't defined by the device you own and to show the world what's possible with a smartphone. I also serve as the Creative Director at @mavenstudio1, a video marketing agency that helps startups, SaaS, Ai and tech companies bring their ideas to life through explainer videos, product launch videos, SaaS videos, UI motion, 3D animation, promotional videos, event visuals, and more. So far, we've had the privilege of partnering with over 10 brands to create videos that educate, engage, and deliver results. Beyond my creative work, I'm passionate about sharing knowledge. This is a project Iā€™m currently working on for @winniesschoolofexcellence, and the experience so far has been a great one. Working with the team has made the process smooth and rewarding. Itā€™s always a different experience when youā€™re collaborating with people who care about clarity and quality. Together, weā€™ve been able to bring their ideas to life in a way that truly represents their vision. For me, projects like this go beyond just animation. Itā€™s about understanding the message, structuring the visuals properly, and making sure every detail contributes to how the audience sees the brand. From the pacing to the transitions to how each scene flows, everything is handled with intention. This is a website walkthrough video, and the project is almost complete. This year has been great so far. Iā€™ve had the opportunity to work on different projects for companies in the fintech and SaaS space, and out of all the projects Iā€™ve worked on, this one I created for @bepeerless_co is the one Iā€™m sharing today. Working on this project was a great experience. I had the privilege of collaborating with the team and other creatives to produce a video that brought their ideas to life and told their story in a way their audience can clearly understand what Peerless does and the solutions they offer. The project has been completed and delivered, and I received positive feedback from both the team and the CEO, which made all the effort put into creating the video truly worth it. A few years ago, I was posting consistently on Instagram, sharing my work, giving valueā€¦ but nothing was happening. No likes. No comments. No clients. I felt like giving up. My mentor told me: ā€œFemi, life is all about seasons. There is a time to plant and a time to reap. Right now, you are planting. Keep showing up. Your harvest will come.ā€ He also reminded me: ā€œDonā€™t compare yourself to others. They are in their harvest season. Focus on your journey.ā€ I took his advice seriously. I stayed consistent. And today, I get client inquiries every week, work with amazing brands, and my Instagram has grown to over 5,300 followers. You might be in that same season right now. You are posting. You are creating. You are learning. And yet, zero likes, zero engagement, zero clients. It is easy to think you are not good enough. But hear me clearly: You are not failing. You are planting. The results will come. Growth will come. Opportunities will come. Every post, every video, every tip you share now is preparing you for the season when your work will pay off. As we enter a new week, give more than you did last week. Be consistent. Be patient. Be intentional. Your harvest is coming, and when it arrives, it will exceed your expectations. I had the pleasure of creating an explainer video for @plivrabrands , a forward-thinking digital marketing agency. The goal of this project was to tell a clear and relatable story for business owners and entrepreneurs who struggle to manage their brand, maintain consistency, or achieve results from their online efforts, while introducing Plivra as the solution and clearly communicating the value it offers. To start, I wanted the opening scene to connect with the audience immediately. I used real human footage because when viewers see people like them expressing frustration through facial expressions and gestures, it creates an emotional connection. They think, ā€œThis is me. This is exactly what Iā€™m going through.ā€ This approach ensures viewers relate to the story, understand the message, and stay engaged until the end. Once the problem was clear, I introduced Plivra as the solution. I showcased some of their design work to highlight the quality they deliver. I also used animations, like fast rocket movements to represent the speed of their services, and a moving laptop screen to showcase their website and the full list of services they offer. Every element and animation was carefully created to work together, clearly communicating what Plivra does and making it easy for the audience to understand. Working with the Plivra team was an amazing experience. They were clear about their goals, open to ideas, and made the entire process smooth and collaborative. Every brand creates a product or offers a service because there is a problem they want to solve. A while back, the founder of @plivrabrand reached out to me to work on their explainer video. Plivra is a forward-thinking digital marketing agency dedicated to helping businesses build stronger brands, expand their reach and achieve measurable growth in the digital space. They wanted a motion piece that truly reflects that vision, and it has been a really great experience working with their team so far. The project is currently about 70% complete, and Iā€™ve shared a few of the design frames already. Every part of this project has been intentional, from the colors to the typography to the animation style. Everything is designed to make the message clear, visually engaging and powerful enough to drive action. Thatā€™s the standard I set for every project I work on. I donā€™t just want it to look good, I want the story to land, the message to connect and the audience to feel something and move.
