POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
@justyayamou says the inspiration for this reel comes from the wise words of her future Florida senator @angieforfl 🩷 speaking about the character of her opponent Ashley Moody, who Yaya does NOT like because she’s going to build data centers across her wild Florida and then where will she go on her wild morning walks? FLORIDIANS 🐊EARLY VOTING IS OPEN IN DOZENS OF COUNTIES NOW & STATEWIDE ON OCTOBER 24!!!! 🍊USE THE LINK IN BIO TO MAKE YOUR VOTING PLAN TODAY!!!!!! by @femislay
“Mine is the moon at the far edge of the words, And the bounty of birds, And the immortal olive tree. I walked this land before the swords Turned its living body into a laden table. I come from there. I render the sky unto her mother When the sky weeps for her mother. And I weep to make myself known To a returning cloud. I learnt all the words worthy of the court of blood So that I could break the rule. I learnt all the words and broke them up To make a single word: Homeland...” Excerpt from I Come From There by Mahmoud Darwish by @femislay

Seeing this trend is a reminder of the universality of girlhood, how girls are so often deprived of their childhood, individuality, curiosity, desires, and humanity. Meanwhile boys are nurtured with privilege, options, and rest. Imagine how different how world could be we raised boys with self awareness. by @femislay
@justyayamou wearing our (what’s mine is her and what’s her is not mine) brand new shirt from @_selfsovereignty says “it’s time for the matriarchy.” Shirt was gifted 💐 this is not a paid ad by @femislay
The mimosa flower symbolizes the strength and resilience of women. May we channel the symbolism of these blossoms when the violent culture of patriarchy seems too much to bear. by @femislay

The immediate treatment (see protections) of the Cornell 7 case should clear up any questions anyone has about why we have a rapist as a President. May these men, and all those who protected them, never know another day of peace as long as they live. by @femislay

Normalize saying Benjamin Netanyahu is a war criminal & architect of a genocide against Palestinians & in doing literally nothing, the United Nations and so called international order is complicit in Israel’s genocide. by @femislay

Just yesterday, illegal Israeli settlers uprooted and damaged dozens of olive trees (a lifeblood of the Palestinian economy and cultural and familial landscape, feat in the background of these images) in the occupied West Bank (NOT HAMAS 😱), days after razing Palestinian farm land, beginning the illegal construction of roads across the occupied West Bank, and carrying out 628 violent attacks on Palestinians and their land. Dizzying how complicated it is to figure out who the bad guys are. by @femislay
