A crepe cooking class, hike and nature walk, and a little sight seeing can do the mind and soul some good. Thanks for being good to me Arizona and thank you for letting me bring in the new year with more perspective. #travel #hiking #hike #hikingadventures #reset #crepes #arizona #arizonahiking by @fender_mason

Good evening people. I want to talk to y’all a little bit about change and challenging times that some of us may be going through. You may not know it’s time for a change until something forces you in that submission of staying who you are or break you down to help build that person you have to become to overcome the obstacles that life throws at you. To be honest it fuckin sucks and it can do a lot of damage to your mental and emotion state. But it’s all for the better in the long run. And despite hitting rock bottom, whether a couple months, year ago, or even yesterday, you got back up. When you think you don’t see the light at the end of the tunnel, you created it. Your story is one of overcoming. Please acknowledge how powerful you are. Trust the next chapter, because you already know the author. #inspire #change #growthmindset #painofchange #painistemporary #yougotthis #motivate #adapt #overcome #strength #gym #gymtherapy by @fender_mason

Good evening/morning people. With the year ending I thought I would bring up something that I’ve been learning in more ways than one to help me through this journey called life. Acceptance. It’s one of the answers to all my problems today. When I am disturbed, because I found a person/people, place, thing, or situation; some fact of life that is unacceptable to me, and I can find no serenity until I accept that person/people, place, thing, or situation as being exactly the way it is supposed to be at that moment. To me, nothing, absolutely nothing happens in God’s world by mistake, unless I accept completely on life’s terms, I cannot be happy. Hence why I need to concentrate on what needs to be changed in me and my attitudes. Don’t wait till the new year or whatever societal norm out now to make that change. Take a chance and go for it. Accepting what is can help you delegate which direction you go. #mental #mentalhealth #mentalhealthmatters #motivation #gym #gymtherapy #gymlife #gymrat #strength #strengthandconditioning #mindoverbody #train #training #trainingmask by @fender_mason

Good morning world. Just wanted to see to touch a little on this thing we call life and how it can creep up on you real fast. It can be overwhelming in more ways than one. However, you don’t have to solve your problems overnight because of it. And you do t have to feel ashamed for where you are. All you have to focus on is one small thing you can do today to get closer to where you want to be. Slowly and lightly, one step at a time. You can get there. I believe in you, why can’t you? #motivation #yougotthis #keepgoing #keeppushing #keepmovingforward #takecareofyourself #goodmorning #positiveenergy #tattoos #gymtherapy #mentalhealth #mentalhealthmatters by @fender_mason

Good morning all, I know some of you may have not had a good morning, you’re probably sad, so I won’t tell you to have a good day. Stay alive, feed yourself well, wear comfortable clothes and don’t give up on yourself just yet. It’ll get better. Until then, have a day. #mentalhealthawareness #mental #mentalhealth #riseandgrind #sweat #heal #gym #gymmotivation #gymtherapy #strength #wisdom by @fender_mason

I would like to take a second to talk a little about the importance of mental health. It’s often not spoken about but is just as important as physical health. You can drink the water that high in pH, eat the right foods, do your workouts, but it’s for nothing if the mind doesn’t follow along with the body and it’ll start to show. I think there are 5 things that we all should be aware of when it comes to that because we all have our mental struggles. 1. Compassion. Be kind to yourself, stop judging yourself, and practice positive self-talk. 2. Self-care. Rest. Pay attention to your self-care or internal battery. Give yourself what you need because deprivation is not healthy. Be sure to make time for yourself. 3. Support. Go to therapy but with the right therapist. Reach out for help, mental illness isn’t necessarily an illness. Don’t hide in shame and suffer in silence like most of us do with subliminal posts or influenced by social media. Ask for what you need and create a strong support system. Break the stigma. 4. Action. Set boundaries with your triggers, work on different coping skills. Do the work. Don’t give up on yourself. 5. Truth. Notice how your choices (both conscious and subconscious) contribute in a negative way. Look at what isn’t working in your life and be strong enough to make that change because the pain of change is better than the pain of loss. Enjoy your day people. #mentalhealthawareness #mentalhealth #mentalhealthmatters #strength #persistence #consistency #hardwork #wegotthis #sweatandtears #gym #gymtherapy #gymtherapysession #lvft #keepmovingforward by @fender_mason

Been struggling lately? It’s okay. I’ve been doing so as well. You don’t have to figure out everything today. You don’t have to solve your whole life tonight. And you don’t have to tackle everything at once. You just have to show up and try. You just have to focus on the immediate thing in front you. You have to trust and believe that you will figure out as you move along. Majority of the time that’s what we do as walk through life anyway....winging it...just know we’re not too different...you got this. #itsok #yougotthis #inspiration #mentalhealthawareness #mentalhealth #itsimportant #foodforthought #mentalfitness #mentalfitnesshealth #mentalfitnessisfitness #breathe #inspiretobeinspired #inspiredtobebetter #fitness #motivation #tattoos by @fender_mason
