I'll share the 6 secrets to making thick smoothies.

Number 1: Make sure to only use frozen fruits

No ice, no regular fruits.

2. Let the fruits thaw for 15 minutes before blending.

Otherwise your blender is going to struggle

3. One of the biggest mistakes is adding too much liquids.

Only add a splash of milk, nothing more.

4. Use frozen banana and frozen mango as the main ingredient

They work the best to get that thick texture.

5. Add other frozen or freeze dried fruits for color and taste.

Like Dragon fruit powder or frozen blueberries

6. Use a blender with at least 1000 Watts of power.

I took my blender on a 12.000 km flight to Bali 😂

I make smoothie videos every day for my channel, so if I'm going to Bali for a month, my blender has to come with me lol.

I also took an entire box of @theorganiclabs superfoods to color my smoothies so you can imagine that I didn't have much space left for clothing 🙈 by @fenitas.nl

Millions of views… just not always on my own account 🥲

Over the years, hundreds of people have reposted my smoothie videos, so I’m finally testing a watermark to see if it makes a difference.

What do you think? Should I keep the watermark on every video from now on? 👀

🥭 RECIPE
• 1 cup frozen banana
• ½ cup frozen mango
• ¼ cup frozen raspberries
• Dash of milk
• 1 tsp blue spirulina

⚠️ Small mistake in the voice-over: I said blueberries, but this smoothie actually doesn’t contain any blueberries! That was actually the smoothie I did in a live stream right after.

Blend until thick & smooth 🌪️

And if you want to make sure you’re watching the original smoothie guy… you know what to do 😉 by @fenitas.nl

10 years of smoothie bowl experience in 30 seconds.

I make smoothie bowls for a living and these are my top 3 lessons:

Starting with number 3: Use banana as the base. I know some of you don't like banana, then go with mango. But banana is definitely the best for bowls.

Number 2: Every fruit you add to the blender, should be frozen. Fresh fruit is going to make your smoothie bowl thin.

Number 1: Use as little liquid as possible. Let the frozen fruits thaw for 15 minutes if necessary, but adding too much liquid is the biggest mistake people make.

Here are the 5 things I wish I knew about blenders sooner

1: More watts doesn't automatically mean a better blender
I used to own a blender with 1400 watts, which sounds like a lot. But it would always get stuck on frozen fruits. The blender I use in this video is 'only' 1200 watts, but it works way better.

2: If you're blending frozen fruits, use a tamper
It makes a huge difference if you're able to push the fruits towards the blades while it's blending.

3: If you don't have a tamper, pause the blender and scrape the sides with a spoon
This also works incredibly well to get your fruits blended

4: If the blender gets stuck, stop blending immediately.
There's no point in forcing it. Pause it, add some more liquid, scoop it and try again.

5: You don't need a $500 blender.
I have made thick smoothies like in any type of blender. The sweet spot is between $100 and $200 typically.

I tried smoothie bowls for 365 days.

Here are the 3 things that happened to me.

First, I shared all of them on social media.

Those videos reached millions of people, grew my audience, and inspired a lot of people to try smoothie bowls for the first time.

But the second thing was way more unexpected.

Starting every day with a healthy breakfast made me much more likely to make healthier decisions for the rest of the day.

I’ve never gone to the gym this consistently, I’ve never eaten this many vegetables, and I even stopped drinking alcohol.

And third, I had the most productive year of my life.

I had more energy, more structure, and got more done. Which had a huge impact on my creator business.

So no, a smoothie bowl didn’t magically change my life.

But starting every day with one healthy decision kind of did. by @fenitas.nl

Did you know that if you blend 1 cup of frozen banana, 1 cup of frozen pineapple, 1 scoop of vanilla protein, a little bit of milk, and you blend that for one minute in a @beasthealth Mega blender (or any other blender with a power of at least 1000W), you get healthy ice cream that you can eat every single day? by @fenitas.nl
