Jack Cropper / @jack.cropper

89-91 → 93-96, pain free.

This spring, Jack was sitting 89-91, pitching through shoulder pain & struggling to find the zone (10 BB in 7.1 IP).

We cleaned up the timing of his delivery, got his arm working in sync with his turn & got him a lot stronger in the weight room.

This fall, he’s pain free & sitting 93-96. He hasn’t walked a hitter in over 10 innings, he’s striking out more than one per inning, & he added a sweeping slider, cutter & changeup along the way.

Full breakdown coming soon. by @feolepitching

Your program shouldn’t be a one-size-fits-all packet.

Every arm starts with a personal assessment, and your plan is built from there.
Your whole week is in your pocket, with every drill on video, filmed in-house.

No templates. No more guessing.

EConn Freshman Bryce Leonard @bryceleonard6
From 84-86(T87) to 89-90(T91)

Bryce is a great example of how momentum impacts the delivery and how the presence of upwards momentum is beneficial to narrow ISA’s.

Bryce started up with us topping out at 87 and doing it essentially all arm due to his size, levers, and ability to semi-access a great spinal engine.

The initial adjustment for Bryce was to get him out of the crunchy quad dominant load pattern that caused him to become very stuck and be forced to push out of it resulting in very early extension and COM dumping forwards, causing the arm to do all the work. We put him in hover swings to get him to use the unweight phase to gain momentum forwards and move into drop phase rather than the static leg lift and dropping immediately over right side without gaining any linear momentum.

The other part of this was to get Bryce to delay early extension to allow him to actually rotate and be able to access his spinal extension at the correct time, so it was actually beneficial to him and he wasn’t rotating through extension. We worked a ton on presetting tension against right side (use Miz example) and having a more closed upper half rather than being neutral and attempting to rotate with essentially no real/usable counter rotation to transfer upper center of mass properly.

Bryce is an incredibly hard worker and has been able to adjust and implement these changes, resulting in real momentum and improved positioning at front footstrike, creating the ability to properly access spinal extension and rotate behind and through the lead leg.

Bryce has a very high ceiling and it is just the beginning for him. Excited to see what he is able to accomplish this season and in years to come! by @feolepitching

Big congratulations to @jojogray40 on his first big league appearance since 2024!

Incredible achievement and well deserved.

Few understand the difficulty of working back through injury/surgery. Josiah embraced it and dominated it. Back up to 94 in the return and moving well again!

Grateful to have been allowed to be a small part of his journey back. Learned far more from him in the process than he likely learned from me. by @feolepitching

Enger Paulino / @_engerpaulino_ showing off 96 in a bullpen and making it look easy.

Enger averaged around 91 this past college season and recently committed to @rutgersbaseball.

He has spent the summer finding his velocity back as we have used @newtforce to redefine some of his load/unload strategies to create more efficient timing windows with ground interaction.

Enger had never struggled to throw effortless velocity on flatground (up to 96) but had struggled to translate that output to the mound at times.

Enger worked on changing his linear angles and rotation direction and it has resulted in easy 94-96 bullpens, more feel for command of his full arsenal (CT+SW). by @feolepitching

Great to see @iam_chaycemcd dominate in his @mets debut, after being traded over from LAA.

Running it back up to 98 and back where he belongs!

Velocity and command numbers continue to tick up as does the arsenal as a whole post-usage changes.

Congratulations Chayce! by @feolepitching

@bray.ry / Brayden Ryan continues to learn how to leverage the drop. Last week PRing in a bullpen at 95 (His game PR) and sitting 95-97 in his most recent mound session.

Ryan, narrow ISA, ultimate gravity leverage(r) and late turner. Once he has now established how to time up late rotation and get the rear leg to be passive it has been a smooth transition into creating easy velocity and learning more intentional ways to zone his FS and carry his 4S based on the timing of his rotation.

As he continues to crush his summer weight room work and continue to learn how to leverage his structure the sky is the limit. by @feolepitching

@damien.carter13 / Damien Carter, up to 97 in high intent bullpens this summer.

The last few weeks Damien has been working on some FFS concepts, and cleaning up upper half timing.

It has been helping him control COM and time up launch a bit more efficiently. Resulting in his previous 92/93 PR being smashed. With sitting 94-97 in his most recent output focused day.

Coming of hip labrum surgery, he's doing his best to learn how to better time up his separation window and use his superpower of turning.

Great work from Damien recently! by @feolepitching

Luc Laviguer / @13luc13 PRs at 96 after a long difficult spring health wise. He has also added a cutter in the low 90s.

FS: Avg 94.5 mph (T96), 15” IVB, 6.6” HB

SW: 83 mph, -1.2” IVB, -15.5” HB

After an initial unknown sickness this past offseason, Luc lost nearly 30 pounds in late January and spent the season battling to regain both his weight and strength. After three months of constant fatigue, fluctuating levels of sickness, and numerous hospital trips, the underlying cause was finally identified as parasites in his gut.

With the help of a functional wellness doctor, Luc underwent a two-month-long natural parasite detox protocol while continuing to compete for the University of Rhode Island throughout the season.

He has since found himself back at a comfortable playing weight and is feeling great. Recently seeing a jump in velocity after relearning his load and unload strategy in relation to newtforce data. Now his fastball is climbing up to 96 mph.

He also recently added a cutter to his arsenal (90-91).

Luc is also currently serving as an S&C/performance intern with us. However, we'd rather him have a playing job...

Luc has always had the stuff and ability to play for an affiliate organization. A lot of things health wise during the last few college season haven't gone his way but he is proving he deserves an opportunity now. by @feolepitching

Thomas Shurtleff /@tshurt11 is headed to the @angels!

When I met Thomas at the end of the college fall this past year he had one goal. Become a professional.

Thomas was struggling to get his velocity back and dealing with some nagging anterior shoulder woes. He was able to regain his fastball into the mid 9s and continued to revamp his elite sweeper profile and cutter shapes.

Thomas and I dove deep week to week on his outing prep and attack plans. He continued to improve his performances week after week earning himself All-Ivy honors.

Happy that @danaduquette3 shared the belief that both Thomas and I had for this to be possible. And cheers to him for crushing it on the draft/UDFA portion of this.

This is the perfect cap to a legendary senior season and this opportunity is certainly well deserved by Thomas. Thomas has worked deeply for this. Couldn't be proud of where he has come. by @feolepitching

Jett Little / @jettlittle continues to dominate and show off the work he has put in.

Jett has dominated his return to throw/performance back from TJ and continues to build upon the foundation he has been setting.

Up to 95 routinely this summer, Jett has also been dominating his work on the attack, command side this summer.

Absolutely huge follow for this year, excited to keep seeing him mold into an elite level arm. by @feolepitching
