I had the best time tearing it up with these ladies last weekend @hangtime.bike
I was super stoked to bring the bag down and ride with these badasses!! Helping them level up, as well as myself.

I didn’t ride much, but when I did it was quality. Dealing with commulative concussion has made it hard for me to ride all the time. The anxiety and stress I feel is a lot, so I limit my time on the bike to compensate. (Add in the stress of moving/bringing the airbag across the border and I was already feeling overloaded.)
All this clips are from a total of 5 laps on event day!
I was super scared when I saw the jumps, but knew I could do them. I checked them pretty easy and am so happy I did! It has been a great boost to my confidence in my riding skill.
When I had my accident four years ago. It took me two years to be able to ride again without crying and I couldn’t even do a knee high rock rolls. It was a shock and embarrassing for me. I am the airbag lady, I should be able to ride! I withdrew a lot from biking. Just ran the airbag and only rode if people asked me to ride.
Last year I started racing again, I needed it to help me lock into the zone. My brain just clicked into competitive mode and it helped me ride with authority instead of in the back seat scared of every corner and rock roll.
I super appreciative for the unlock that #hangtime has given me, and the support from the community. I knew I could do it, it just nice to have my brain and body finally agreeing with me!!
I was happy with my progress and I know when to quit on a high so I have more success next time. Can’t wait to clean them up and add more steez!!
Thanks for the tows and being my travel buddy @lexasteger (she f’in shreds and is the best inspiration to follow!)

Thanks to all the media for the quality content. I usually create events, so it was lovely to ride in one and get some footy.

One of my most favourite gifts I have ever given to date.
I restored this for my mom, it used to be my dad Larry’s work bag. I found it when I was painting a room for her, it was in the closet. She had said she could never throw it out and wondered if it could be restored. But thought it was so far gone that it couldn’t be saved.

Immediately the wheels start churning, I was going to fix it!
I talked to a local cobbler and after many YouTube videos, got some supplies and went to work.

Clean it, killed the mold, cleaned it again, and oiled it three times.

And the reason why I love it so much is because it is exactly what Larry would have done. He wouldn’t have thrown it out!! He would have restored it! He taught me the value of old things that still have plenty of life in them. To seeing past the rough exterior to see the incredible beauty beneath. Not to be materialistic, buy quality over quantity, and always local!!
I see Larry everyday in everything I do, I am sure he is beaming!

Super excited to announce that I will be shadow judging this year at Red Bull Rampage women’s event this year!!

Since the inception of Women’s Freeride Movement in 2011, I have been dedicated to pushing women’s freeride/freestyle into the spotlight and I couldn’t be more pumped to move into this new role.

Looking back, it’s been a long road to get here but a natural evolution.

Creating many first time events for women like our air dome sessions, trampoline training, coaches improvement sessions, to our main stay women’s jump clinics.

My most favourite event created to date was Camp Loops, a freeride weekend in Kamloops with @casey__brown__ @haznationbikes @claire_buchar and other pro ladies! We brought many first time freeriders together for a weekend of learning/progression from the best!
I’ve also have covered many freestyle/freeride firsts on our social media feeds and attended events like #provinggrounds #redbulljoyride #redbullrampage. Writing story’s, creating media, and interviewing many of today’s top ladies as they break down barriers and show the world/women what they can do.
Hoping to inspire more riders to take up freeride.
Lots of today’s top pros were covered in our Who Dat? Series on #womensfreeridemovement @cj.selig @chelseasendsit @georgiaastle to name a few. 🤓

We then evolved into WFMBike (Whistler Freestyle & Mtn. Bike) in 2019, and started our airbag setup in 2023.

The path hasn’t been easy - it’s a full on double black diamond. Navigating some gnarly terrain and almost like freeriding at times. As I am going somewhere no other woman has done before. Built an airbag bike park open to the public!!
But every step has been about pushing women’s freeride forward, creating new opportunities, spaces for women, and opening doors to experiences riders didn’t know were possible.

Look far we’ve come since 2011!! I had over 100 photos picked out, but you’d narrowed it down to a few.

And now stepping into a judging role at Women’s Rampage is a huge honour! It’s a powerful step to getting more women judging at top tier events!

To say I am pumped is understatement!!!!
Thanks @h5events @redbullbike for the opportunity!

Japan part 1
#japow trip finally for your viewing pleasure!!
Did a bunch of ski touring at the beginning of my trip with my friend @yukoniiz We went up the classic Yotei mtn, an abandoned ski resort called Weiss, and Mt Shiribetsu!

Was super fun getting shown around by my friend, Yuko who I haven’t seen in 20 years! And she still looks the same! Not a wrinkle on her face!! No fair!! lol!
If you need some massage/acupuncture while in Niseko area hit @yuko_niseko_bodyworks !!

The pow came on the last half of my trip and it was thigh deep for a few days!! So deep you couldn’t move unless it was steep!! #sugoi #yuki
I ❤️ 🇯🇵!!

Thanks to my shred buddies on this trip!! @cchappetta1 @samhounsell @r.gallagherrrr @snowboardgirl007
And bumping into @brianhockenstein on the chairlift was all time!! And all the other amazing peeps I saw along the way!!

As I am getting older I feel it important to start documenting my riding, which is something I never do.
Because who knows for how long I will be able to ride at this level. Time to get snapping! 📸
I do hope to ride right into the grave, but we’ll see what the body says. #rideordie 🚵 🏂

I was busy with the airbag and didn’t want to get hurt. So I didn’t ride much last year.
But I had the chance to film with @hamishrossmcglynn late last fall. And I highly recommend him if you want to get some clips.
He makes everything look good!! Aka @gripitfilm Thanks for the edit!

#desertdays was epic! I went down with no expectations except to meet new people and ride a new style of terrain for me. Had only ridden the desert day and a half before a few years ago. So to get immersed in it with legends like @chelseasendsit @micaylagatto @lua.oliveira101 @gemmacorbera and @cj.selig did tons for my confidence. I have been struggling with a mental block/fear/anxiety everytime I ride, since I crashed last year.
And these girls helped me feel at ease and share their expertise, enabling me to ride more and conquer my fears!
Even when we were trail building on Kong and my fear off falling got the best of me!
Thanks team for helping me through and beyond!! It was just what I needed to banish the fear and feel confident on the bike again!
Can’t wait for next year!!

Mega thanks to @chelseasendsit for bringing us together! @iamspecialized_mtb @iamspecialized for supporting her vision!! For @fattire for the beers to cheers! And @ripton_co for clothing us!!

Little rainy day jaunt with Kat and @kbenzz to Semaphore Lakes.
Was very soggy at times but well worth it.
Gave us a chance to check out the Train Loop for a future mission.
